June 2019 edit

Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on Portuguese language. Thank you. Megaman en m (talk) 20:27, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

User:Megaman en m - I'd like to get some clarity here; is calling a sourced edit "trolling" on the part of User:Springpfühler assuming good faith? --Spirit of the night (talk) 20:29, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Nope, which is why I've given them the same notice.--Megaman en m (talk) 20:40, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
User:Megaman en m - Thank you. Please could you refer me to the relevant avenue of dispute resolution. The user clearly does not relent in their edit warring as they seem to have a history of it, see the history of Italian language. The user continuously denies that Portuguese is a recognised minority language in South Africa when sources including the SA Constitution have been cited. They insist on insultingly insinuating that Portuguese South Africans, along with all other minorities in SA are mere immigrants and their languages have no recognition, which is flat out incorrect. --Spirit of the night (talk) 22:33, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Agricolae (talk) 14:07, 25 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

User:Agricolae - The user in question here has not made a single comment on content, they write essays about their personal views in full disregard of civility towards other editors and reliable sources, what exactly is the appropriate response? --Spirit of the night (talk) 16:52, 25 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
So them talking about their personal views legitimizes you launching personal attacks? No. I said this to Springpfühler, I will say it to you:
Other editors behaving badly is no excuse for you to behave badly - it will just cause the administrators to say 'a pox on both your houses' and sanction you both if it continues. I want to be absolutely clear. If you do this again, I will report you and you will be blocked from editing. If Springpfühler does this again, I will report them and they will be blocked from editing. If Springpfühler does it and you respond in kind, I will report you both and you will both be blocked from editing. It has to stop.
You have now both tried to make me your ally, to get me to help you implement your version against the wishes of the other. I am not going to do that. All I intend to do is help the two of you together to come up with a solution you both can live with, and if necessary, keep either of you from unilaterally implementing a change without consensus. Portuguese in SA edit

We have been waiting for several days for you to provide feedback on Springpfühler's proposed text, either a suggested modification or alternative text that avoids the wording Springpfühler finds objectionable. This has gone on long enough and thus if we don't hear from you shortly, either by providing feedback or giving an indication that you will like more time, there will be no choice but to proceed toward consensus without your involvement. Thanks. Agricolae (talk) 15:12, 27 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your claims of User:Untrammeled in the Ethnic groups of South Africa edit

I don't understand what you mean about me pushing theories of racism while the actuality is validated, you may elaborate your claims for me to understand your claims. Untrammeled (talk) 05:58, 20 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
