Metropolitan areas in Utah

Thanks for your note! First off — when you read the rest of my note, please understand that I'm not complaining at you :-) The articles and image that you're talking about are based on the official definitions of the metropolitan and micropolitan areas; for this reason, they may not comply with your view of metropolitan areas. Please see Utah census statistical areas for a little insight: you'll see that Utah has five metropolitan areas (MSAs) and five micropolitan areas (μSAs), and that two of each of them are grouped together to form a Combined Statistical Area (CSA). The reason for the many colors on the map is that it shows all the metro and micro areas that together form the CSA; this way, the map can be used for articles on each of the metro and micro areas, as well as on the complete CSA. Is this confusing? If so, tell me and I'll try to say it in a simpler fashion. Nyttend (talk) 02:54, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

By the way, when you leave a comment on a talk page with a section header (the equals signs), it's always best to use the "new section" button near the "edit" button at the top of the page, because that automatically puts the comment at the bottom of the page. Nobody will become unhappy if you do like you did at my talk page, but it's common practice to put new comments at the bottoms of talk pages, so it's a lot easier for your comment to be missed if you put it anywhere else.
