Blatant vandalism

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Steve Jobs, you may be blocked from editing.

Hello MarkZusab,

I made some good faith edits on the page today and it was rolled back by you and another editor. I don't believe the source for Steve Jobs supposed birth name is verifiable. The page states that his birth name is Abdul Lateef Jandali, and references someone claiming to be his cousin. There is no documented proof that his birth name is as listed on the Wikipedia page. I was not attempting to vandalize the page, and good faith edits should not be viewed as attempted vandalism.

Can someone independently verify his birth name before posting this on Wikipedia?

I also have never heard or read of Mr. Jobs referring to himself by that name. The notes section also states that his name was changed to Steve Jobs. Is there proof of that anywhere, or is it an assumption by the editor of the page?

Hello Rovingrobert,

why are you calling my changes vandalism? The articles you referenced from Huffington Post references the Gulf new article. The Indonesian article has no refernece.

This leads us back to the Gulf news article written by someone who admits they never met or talked to Steve Jobs.

I have searched and have not been able to find any other sources that Steve Jobs had another name.

I assume someone who knew him personally would have verified this long ago, but they have not. Please read my note to MarkZusab explaining why I made the changes.

I invited the only editor on the talk page that has not responded. Reaching out to one (1) editor is not canvassing. I did not invite other editors as the editor ssimon223 was the one who did the rollbacks. I also notice that only editors with your point of view were pinged and asked to contribute their opinions. This seems biased on your part. An additional editor who was not part of the talk page was also invited in order to give an opinion that supports your point of view. Please read your own comments regarding votestacking. WP:Votestacking. Who notified the other editors? Is that not votestacking?

I looked at your contributions because you opened a dispute resolution thread that involved me but did not inform me. That is certainly not wikihounding or harassment as you accused me of.

As for the canvassing warning, you do know that everyone can see anyone else's edit history, including when the edits were made, right? You opened the dispute resolution thread at 14:25 [1]. User:Ivanvector pinged the rest of the involved editors including Xoltron at 15:12 [2]. You notified Xolton at 18:28 [3] but did not notify any of the other editors who had not yet responded. You requested Xolton's response again at 21:49 [4]. So, yes this appears to be votestacking. Ivanvector was not votestacking, and your warning of him was inappropriate.

If you are also the WP:SPA IP who showed up on my talk page mere minutes after the post on Ivanvector's page to warn me too, you are likely already aware that the IP has been CU blocked Meters (talk) 06:01, 25 June 2019 (UTC)

@meters I am requesting that you cease all communication with me as you are hounding me. Do not post about me or on my page anymore. Ivanvector invited Bonadea, who was not an editor on the page so that is vote stacking. Also, as a white person, you should not be dictating to non-whites about their identity or language. That is cultural imperialism and racist. It is for the Persian people to decide what to call their language. Colonialism is dead. I just notified you.

I had been involved in the discussions about the word "Farsi" in the article Prince Edward Island. And the issue is not what the language is called by its speakers, but what it is called in English. --bonadea contributions talk 14:14, 25 June 2019 (UTC)

You've now accused two different editors - me and Meters of hounding. In my case, I did review the Persian language page - because you said I should - and I found things there which I felt to be inappropriate - which I subsequently edited. I'm sorry, but when an editor says, "look at this page," and then I do, and make changes, that does not constitute hounding. Please WP:AGF and avoid making personal attacks. Unfortunately there is a great deal of bullying threats, and harassment by several editors here including Meters and now John from Idegon who just left a blatant and uncalled for threat on my page, which I removed. This gang-like behavior needs to be escalated and handled be asenior admin before it gets out of hand. Frankly I am finding certain people extremely vulgar and boorish here, in their demeanor and language which is sure to scare away educated and valuable editors from Wikipedia who are bound to get repulsed by such childish behavior.Xoltron (talk) 23:19, 23 August 2019 (UTC)
