Speedy deletion nomination of Sonu Dubay

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sonu Dubay requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Rajendra Dubay has been reverted.
Your edit here to Rajendra Dubay was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://rajdubaymarketing.blogspot.com/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Multiple accounts

edit

Please remember that you should only use one account to edit from. Both this account and User:Sonu9000 are making nearly identical edits to some articles. That plus the obvious prefix of the two names, suggest you may be using multiple accounts. Please do not do this. Read WP:MULTIPLE for more. Shadowjams (talk) 19:40, 2 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Getting started

edit

I noticed that you are having some trouble getting started here, so I thought I'd see if I could help.

In order to have a Wikipedia article, the person or thing you're writing about needs to meet our notability requirements. If books or newspaper articles have been written about someone, then they are probably notable. If the only information you can find comes from blogs, they probably aren't. Have a look at the article I linked to. In addition to being about a notable subject, the article needs to show that the person meets those requirements. So you need to link to those sources, and you need to talk about the achievements that made the subject notable. Again, use the sources, and work from them.

Anyway, it's always good to see another Trini around this place. Guettarda (talk) 20:15, 6 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sniti Mishra

edit

The article Sniti Mishra has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Ridernyc (talk) 02:08, 5 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ram Leela

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ram Leela, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jacqueline Fernandez, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Aladin (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Kick (2014)

edit

The article Kick (2014) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced and or WP:TOOSOON

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ...William 19:15, 17 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
