Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Read external links please. Speedy deletion nomination of Ben scott ac/dc edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ben scott ac/dc requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. v/r - TP 00:54, 10 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

In order to introduce the content on the Bon Scott article, you will need to provide a link to the story online or provide us with the dates and page numbers of the newspaper articles where you got the invformation. This is so that the information added agrees with our policies of verifiability and reliable sources. Thanks --Diannaa (Talk) 02:49, 10 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
It is not realistic to expect me and every other reader of the article to phone Australia to confirm that the story actually appeared in their newspaper on some unknown date. I am removing the information again. Please do not re-add it unless you can quote an exact source. Thanks. --Diannaa (Talk) 02:54, 10 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Bon Scott. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Diannaa (Talk) 03:05, 10 January 2011 (UTC) tell us dianna how did you find it has no source ? fremantle herald also has a wiki page if you care to look??? how about i post up a photo of the headline??? i read that to supply a web page link to the source of the info is accepted by wiki???Reply

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Bon Scott. Diannaa (Talk) 03:15, 10 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

comments edit

  1. I deleted the article on Ben s., but I will restore it if there is any possible reason to do so. Merely being Bon Scott's son, or or there being a controversy about whether or not he is hissom, is not a claim to notability, especially considering the requirements of WP:BLP. Please answer at my talk p., or at WP:Requests for undeletion where you made a request,
  2. There is no requirement in general for articles to be online. Print newspaper articles are very acceptable, but they must be exactly cited, and, in the case of a matter involving such obvious BLP considerations as here, it is necessary to provide a specific quotation in adequate context. One cannot discuss the paternity of living people in an encyclopedia on the basis of "I remember reading an article that..." DGG ( talk ) 03:10, 11 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
