Hi! I re-read the article and would love to revise to eliminate issues with tone. I re-read the article, and having written for academic encyclopedias for my job (I am a professor), I cannot identify the problem. I wonder if it is related to lack of secondary sources? One challenge with this topic is that fiber arts-related companies/topics are seldom covered in the press--fiber arts are and have been, historically, a significant area of activity for women, both for family survival (women knitting clothing, for example) in the past, and, currently, as a hobby pursuit. Fiber arts companys and activitiees are under-represented in publications, except in the form of ads (for products, trunk shows, etc.) and, of course, the publications produced by fiber arts supply companies. There are, for example, no reviews of fiber arts products published in newspapers, as there are reviews of books, etc. I searched far and wide for sources. From all of the newspapers I searched, the longest articles were the two that I found related to Julie Nixon. I couldn't find others, except, for examples, mentions of Bucilla-sponsored fashion shows, or trunk shows, which were likely created from press releases. There are many primary sources, but few secondary sources. Bucilla products have a strong following still today, and hobbiests are curious about the company's history. The company profile and history of Bucilla lacks the independent elements that I added in my encyclopedia entry draft. I welcome your advice!! BTW, I have no conflicts of interest or connections to Bucilla, except as a hobby user of several kits. Sonicwoodstock (talk) 02:28, 18 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
