“Former countries” edit
Greetings. I’m currently reverting a number of your edits. Earlier today you went on a serial editing spree categorizing various now defunct polities as “former countries.” The problem is that quite a few were never countries (i.e. independent nation states). Instead, many of these entities were former colonies, protectorates, regions, and provinces of other countries. Your effort is very appreciated, but factual accuracy is also very helpful.
