Hi, You can't just edit articles according to your own views on the subject. You have to bring good quality sources to support everything you add. See WP:V, WP:NOR, WP:RS. Zerotalk 07:47, 14 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

My own views? Can you elaborate? Society of Rules (talk) 02:28, 15 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
For example you added "and use the nomenclature to identify as a nationality" which did not appear in the given sources, and in your latest edit you added a reference to page 169 of Lewis, but that does not contain this information either. Then you changed "Since 1967, pan-Arabism has diminished as an aspect of Palestinian identity." (which is true but not cited properly yet) to "Since 1967, pan-Arabism has competed with Palestinian identity in the politics of the region." (which is contrary to a large literature on the subject and not cited at all). This sort of editing won't do. Zerotalk 05:59, 15 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Wrong. I don't need to quote sources, paraphrasing is better, isn't it? Further, pan-Arabism has been a big part of the region since 1967. Arifat was a pan-Arabist. When Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait, Arifat applauded. He denied the nation of Kuwait and said it was not occupation. Ironic, isn't it.

Pan-Arabism competes with Palestinian identity. For example, in Israel proper, the Muslim groups bicker over which name is better, for political reasons. It is like how the Muslims of the region wanted to call said region "Southern Syria."

It seems like you are trying to diminish pan-Arabism as a part of Palestinian politics. You shouldn't lecture me on NPOV. Society of Rules (talk) 04:29, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

You don't need to quote sources, you need to cite sources, and they must support your edit. And don't blame me for lecturing you on the rules, as a Wikipedia administrator it is one of my jobs. Zerotalk 10:13, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
You're an administrator? Holy F, things are worse around here then I thought. Society of Rules (talk) 00:31, 17 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Note that the ap and tpm topic codes are interchangeable. tpm is preferred.

To clarify, you are very very obviously not a new user. You are, in fact, very clearly a sockpuppet of an established user (per your comments here and here. Now, I don't know this topic area very well, so I don't know if you're the sock of a banned user, or simply an active account trying to evade scrutiny. But that kind of behavior can't be allowed in this topic area.
Furthermore, as noted above, your edits thus far in the area have included both non-neutral statements and original research, per Wikipedia's definitions of the terms (see WP:NPOV and WP:OR, though, as I say, I suspect you're well aware of them already). At this point, you need to immediately reverse your tactics: start discussing before you make significant changes (and, in ARBPIA, that means pretty much anything that isn't a grammatical fix), and stop leveling threats at other users without actually providing any sort of back up. Of course, if you are violating WP:SOCK, or if your primary account is either blocked or banned, you just need to stop editing from this account altogether.
