Cyrus

edit

Just a heads-up about two things:

  • You should move the article to Cyrus (musician) in compliance with wikipedia's article naming conventions.
  • You can't use discogs as a reference, as it is a user-editable site.

Thanks for the input, this is my first article and I thought discogs would be sufficiant for referencing his discography. How do I move the article to Cyrus (musician)?? What sources would you reccomend I use instead of discogs for my discography? Any chanve you could help me get this article up to scratch? Thanks for you time. --Snypadub 00:48, 8 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

the move page function is under the drop-down menu at the top of the page - i've moved it for you in this case... you will probably want to change the link in the dubstep article to point at Cyrus (musician) to avoid a redirect. as for releases, i wouldn't sweat it too much as regards providing references for them at present, rather concentrate on establishing notability for the artist via references like the guardian one you've used. however if you create articles for the releases in question, you would probably have to establish notability in those articles (WP:RS reviews or interviews). you might want to use Burial (musician) as a template for the Cyrus (musician) article. --Kaini (talk) 01:06, 8 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Cyrus (again)

I'm not going to revert again - not a big deal - but I'd encourage you to read WP:OWN. If you start using language like 'as page owner... my right', people aren't going to be very happy with you! Nobody on wiki 'owns' an article. Kaini (talk) 18:16, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
