Speedy deletion nomination of Riley Martin (Actor

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Riley Martin (Actor requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 21:22, 5 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Phillipa Alexander

edit

The article Phillipa Alexander has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Proposed deletion of Badanamu: Learn and Play

edit

The article Badanamu: Learn and Play has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Badanamu does not appear to be a television program, but rather a company that produces educational materials (games, videos, etc., see their website). The company does not appear to be notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Hannah Swain

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Hannah Swain requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.   Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Toopy and Binoo are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Hoax proliferation

edit

Please stop trying to proliferate hoaxes as it appears you've done here and here. Surely if these things were being rebooted, you'd have brought sufficient references to support the claims. If you submit any more unsourced content like this again, I will indefinitely interrupt your account. Other issues:

  • You need to be able to edit in proper English using proper typography. This edit, where you randomly capitalise words and use the strange description "ballerina-like" is not helpful. If English is not your primary language, you should probably wait until your skills get a bit stronger before editing prose. Otherwise, you are expected to be able to write in competent English.
  • Talk pages are not for pointless chatter like this. Talk pages are to be used to discuss specific improvements to the article.
  • Reruns are not noteworthy.
  • This isn't proper English, and it's unsourced.
  • Adding chatter to articles isn't helpful.

Please keep these close in mind going forward, as deviations will very likely result in the interruption of your editing privileges. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:29, 2 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Puppy Dog Pals, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Maltese. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:51, 16 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proper typography

edit

Hi there, re: this edit, please don't use nonstandard capitalization when submitting prose at Wikipedia. A normal sentence is written like this. Not Like This. If you're not too sharp in English, we typically only capitalize proper nouns like character names, locations, and specifically named things. So "building" is not capitalized, but the "Empire State Building" is, because it is a building with a proper name. Your edits require other editors to go through and fix the problems, which ultimately is not helpful. Also, please note that per WP:TVPLOT you have somewhere in the 150-200 word range to write a comprehensive summary that establishes the episode's premise, includes a few details, and then presents the conclusion. You're not limited to a mere sentence here. I'm hoping that this revelation might help you to expand your vision for future edits. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:51, 17 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Little Quack!

edit

Hello, Snuggleblanket. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Little Quack!".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.
