Wikipedia:Song edit

Hallo, I am from the german Wikipedia from the sociologic section, and I found out that you wrote a song text on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Song . We want to know the reason(s) why you wrote this song. It would be kind of you to leave an english (or german) comment on http://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Wikipedistik/Soziologie/Musik&action=edit&redlink=1 . Thank you --84.166.123.219 (talk) 07:43, 9 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I really do not think there was any reason to give mboverload the ASCII finger here, Sneaky Oviraptor.
Also, please don't vandalize. I admit that that it can be amusing and I did it too back when I was new, but please don't, especially if you want to become an admin.
About your RFA I have closed it, don't take this badly but you do not come close to meeting the minimum requirements, most users will want to a candidate to have at least one thousand edits, see Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship. - Icewedge (talk) 01:33, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Actually I thought he was vandalizing and reverted his edit. Then I noticed he was vandalizing his own talk page so I put it back. Then he left utterly nonsensical comments on my talk page. =P --mboverload@ 02:31, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Either way, no harm, no foul. If you wish to become an admin in the future I look forward to seeing your contributions! =) --mboverload@ 02:35, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

October 2008 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Atlantic Records has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Blocked
You have been blocked for vandalism for 1 month. To contest this block, add the text {{unblock|your reason here}} on this page, replacing your reason here with an explanation of why you believe this block to be unjustified. You can also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. Please be sure to include your username (if you have one) and IP address in your email.

If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia after the block has expired, you will be blocked for longer and longer periods of time.  Infrogmation (talk) 22:08, 7 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
(#to Sneaky Oviraptor18:) I have tried to discuss this block with Infrogmation (see here) as you only vandalized twice (you should not have vandalized at all but the blocking tolerance is usually quite a bit higher) and stooped after being warned but he is of the opinion that this is a valid block. You can try to further discuss it with him here (I will notify him of your response if you do) or you can just sit out the block. I am sorry this had to happen. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I have now changed. I have even more important stuff to do than vandalise, like making guides for annonys and new users

Decline reason:

This request for unblocking has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • Click edit this page on that article and scroll down past the message informing you of your block.
  • Copy the source of that article and paste it to the bottom of your talk page under a new top-level heading (like this: = [[Article title]] =) and save the page before you improve it.
  • Propose some significant and well researched improvements to your article by editing your personal copy of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "{{helpme|your question here}}" to your talk page. Thank you.— Metros (talk) 16:22, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

P.S. I mean it all.
P.S.S. You can lift it just to ARTICLES, I can still edit my userpages since the block is almost over.
                   Your dearest lonestar,

I'll just wait, then. (cries badly) --~ ~ ~ ~
You ask for your block to be lifted "just to articles" (which is impossible right now, by the way), and then offered the chance to prove what kind of article editing you would do, you refuse? Metros (talk) 16:32, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Talk:Rob Gay edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Talk:Rob Gay, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Talk:Rob Gay is pure vandalism; this includes redirects created during cleanup of page move vandalism.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Talk:Rob Gay, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Your recent history edit

Hello, in your recent edit to Lanco Hills Signature Tower in which you (correctly) reverted vandalism, you provided an edit summary that most would consider uncivil. After looking through some of your other contributions, I noticed you had been recently vandalising talk pages, like here and here (twice). In your editor review, you appear to be quite keen to contribute positively to the Wikipedia community. Looking at your history, I can see a different story.

I suggest you give up vandalism and act civil if you want to get something out of Wikipedia. --timsdad (talk) 05:55, 6 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry but that's absolutely no excuse to be going around vandalising. If you act maturely, you might get somewhere. --timsdad (talk) 22:33, 6 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
>_< it isnt an excuse, ok im very sorry. it has made a DEEP slash in my personality and now im in severe depression. i am not only hurt mentally, but physically. the top of the first adult tooth i ever got is sore along with the incisor beside my right canine. i have a swollen finger that awaits popping. and i am covered in bites. --Sneaky Oviraptor18talk edits tribute 19:13, 9 February 2009 (UTC) (PS i am now suicidal)Reply
EDIT:The finger has now been popped, but when i started picking at the dried pus... nail root seperation from skin occured. D: -Sneaky Oviraptor18talk edits tribute 19:30, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
I don't know what your intention is in providing us with these updates, but I don't think anyone wants to hear about nail root separation and pus oozing out of your finger. Please, stop. neuro(talk) 23:01, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Sneaky Oviraptor18/Longisquama edit

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Sneaky Oviraptor18/Longisquama, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Waterview Tower in Chicago Updates edit

Hi SneakyOviraptor18, my name is Britta and I work for R2integrated, which has been hired by the new owners of Waterview Tower in Chicago, to do their digital marketing.. I noticed you have previous history of Chicago’s skyscrapers and their Wikipedia pages. I found the current Waterview Tower page is currently out of date, so I have suggested some updates on the talk page, since I cannot edit directly because of my COI. Is there any way you could review our edits, give us any necessary feedback and help us get this page up to date? Thank you! You can view our suggested edits on the Waterview Tower talk page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Waterview_Tower Britta Nissen — Preceding undated comment added 20:54, 23 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
