Hello Smileykaye. Suggestion

I wonder if instead of trying to whitewash your school's history, what would happen if you instead embraced it, talked about your roots and where you've come from, and where you'd like to go. You could tell us about Reno Earls, and other early black students, the struggles they faced and the encouragement they received. Wouldn't it be a lot easier than trying to censor and cover up things? Isn't truth and a positive direction better than trying to pretend history didn't happen? Work with us, and we can make the article much better. Try to censor it, and eventually the truth will out. Jacona (talk) 00:46, 18 February 2022 (UTC)

The deletion procedure has closed as keep

One the other hand, the page is much improved and does not utilize segregation academy, because the phrase could not be sourced. I would suggest that a few nice pictures of the building be taken and uploaded, but that's a mere suggestion. You may find it's much easier to watch and maintenance a page which is well-sourced. We appreciate your acting honorably as a connected editor. If there's anything I can do to help, including helping students learn more about how to contribute meaningfully on Wikipedia, feel free to call on me. @BusterD I thank you for all your efforts and the time in making the article more comprehensive. I think it now shows a more 360 view of the school as I was unable to do. I am fine that the article was not removed as all I wanted was for it to be more encompassing. You have restored my faith in the editing process. Those are very kind words and I'm glad our natural processes (including the deletion process) have had a positive influence on the school article, and about the way you feel about Wikipedia. Being wikipedian means learning how to disagree without being disagreeable, a valuable life-skill. I often find editors I might oppose in one process becoming important allies in the next discussion. As a person quite familiar with your school community, you'll be aware of local sources which we might miss. Place such links on the talk page when you see them.
