Speedy deletion of Draft:Dedert edit

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

The page Draft:Dedert has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://dedert.com/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion Review. — Diannaa (talk) 22:59, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

you said that it is illegal to copy from other recourse, but the recourse you have mentioned, we are the owner of this site. how funny wiki. Smfaysal1011 (talk) 04:42, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
That is insufficient. If the text is on your website, it must have a licence that is compatible with Wikipedia's, which allows for reuse for any purpose(including commercial) with attribution. 331dot (talk) 13:33, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
So, Can i retry this with my words about this company? i've talked to the author, he will provide the copyright of anything needed to use on wiki. Smfaysal1011 (talk) 14:57, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
First, before you do anything else, you must make the required paid editing disclosure on your user page. Instructions are provided below. This is not optional. Please also read conflict of interest. Regarding your edits, you have a grave misunderstanding as to what Wikipedia is for. It is not a place for organizations to tell the world about themselves and what they do. That's what social media is for. Any Wikipedia article about your company must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about it, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Wikipedia is not interested in what a company says about itself, only in what others wholly unconnected with the company choose to say about it on their own, and not based on materials from the company(like interviews, press releases, or announcements) 331dot (talk) 15:03, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

speedy deletion of "Dedert corporation" edit

hi there, wiki administration

First, I apologize for not understanding the copyright restrictions.

One of our company profiles should be posted on Wikipedia to assist our customers in finding information using Wikipedia's best detailed system.

So, I tried to include our firm profile and other information that is already on our website. I used several common words in both my online and wiki introductions. I saved it as a draft, but today I received information that a copyright issue had been transferred from our company's website to our wiki profile. However, we have not received any copyright notices or emails.

If you allow me to back up the work you've removed or construct a fresh one, it will be more beneficial to reproduce with the directions you've previously warned about.

Thank you to the wiki team for working on authentication and perfection. In the same way, guide us. We'll provide an excellent platform for the people.

Hello Smfaysal1011. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Smfaysal1011. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Smfaysal1011|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Theroadislong (talk) 13:22, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your guidance,
a lot of rules & conditions in wiki. As my first article, i mistakenly taken some wrong steps.
i have applied for "dedert Corporation" because i know their activities. I just take some info from their web and put in wiki lists. but i didn't submit the article. Before submitting it, i thought to develop the note more smartly.
Though I copied some words from their website, i got speedy dilatation. (Without submission)
After getting your guidance, I mailed to their web developer and seeking permission & take license to use their media. they are ready to share with wiki.
I thought, the company has only rights to put contents. So, I replied on behalf of the company. (Another mistake) But, after your proper guidance, i understand the facts. I'm struggling to put my first article on wiki. So, as a beginner, consider this situation. I love to learn from my stupid mistake.
If you grant me, i can re develop with much more clarification. Smfaysal1011 (talk) 15:55, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Smfaysal1011, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Smfaysal1011|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Theroadislong (talk) 15:01, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying, you may be blocked from editing. Theroadislong (talk) 15:21, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

No, i'm not doing as a paid editor. I just trying to contribute a page for the first time on wiki.
I just took some wrong steps in wiki. But now, I'll be very careful in future editing.
As a beginner, I apologize this situation. Smfaysal1011 (talk) 16:03, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
You said that you replied on behalf of the company above. Are you employed by the company? 331dot (talk) 16:20, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
No,
After getting permission to use their media such as logo and some info,
and ask them to open their text for wiki user, and they agree, so that i use the word behalf. I think i should choose another word. (as I'm not good in English, this is my 4th language)
I wanna be a good contributor of wiki.
Big thanks for guiding me. Smfaysal1011 (talk) 16:32, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
You wrote the following above: "hi there, wiki administration First, I apologize for not understanding the copyright restrictions. This makes it sounds like you are an employee. 331dot (talk) 16:21, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
yah! that's a little misunderstand.
When i got rejection, i have mailed the website author to not provide any copyright Strick.
Then they told them that they didn't do anything and not received any mail. I thought you guys maybe send any verification link to the website author. So that i request them to provide the link if wikki send. As Google my business provide access for author only, So i talk as i m one of them. Also the Company has no interest what i'm doing as a Contributor.
If you have still inconvenience, Allow me for other topics,
i'll cover this topics another time. Smfaysal1011 (talk) 16:47, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
So I think you are saying that you posted the company's email, but didn't write it yourself? In any event, since you are in communication with the company about this, you have a conflict of interest.
I might also suggest that if English is not your main language, that you edit the version of Wikipedia that is in a language with which you have more skill. 331dot (talk) 16:55, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
i wright as if I'm one of them. but actually I'm none of them. I just conveyance them to give copyright permission.
To get copyright permission, mailing is only way to get permission, you guys also suggest this. Though they assure to help me to provide Everything, So that i talked as if I'm one of them. I also thought, the replies and notifications comes from Robot. So, i was not careful enough. Before i make an article, i watched videos on YouTube, take suggestion from google, everyone is teaching to build a bio of own, so that i don't have idea about Conflict of interest.
I don't know why you're very strict for beginner.
also wiki has more language to work. though I'm little week in English, but enough to contribute as school standard words.
I'm still waiting for permission to work on wikki. I've seen a lot of wrong and backdated info in wiki. people may mislead. i think i can do good works. Smfaysal1011 (talk) 17:21, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

December 2022 edit

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
331dot (talk) 09:47, 12 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
I apologized once again to providing unfair statements.
Forget the things i've done in the past conversation.
I'll follow all the rules of COI and will research more to develop an article.
However, i just take two content on draft, thought fulfil next time, but don't know that you guys will check the draft work.
I don't submitted two topics in a day. It was my ignorance about wiki. but, i'm not an employe of dedert corporation. you can check their employee profile. Also I'm not promoting a non profit club. in Swapno Sarothi, i copied a structure from another non profit club in wiki. Still this article is promotional but the other from which I've followed the structure are not.
you guys already blocked me, don't know why you're so rude to a beginner. Though the fault is mine and i'm very upset and regret for this fact.
if you need verification of my identity/ job profile or anything, i can provide.
but pls, don't block me from editing.
Give another chance to become a contributor of your platform. Smfaysal1011 (talk) 13:25, 12 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • You need to read carefully the message above, because you have not formatted your unblock request as it says you should.
Furthermore, as I said here, I strongly believe you are paid to edit Wikipedia (and apparently 331dot, who blocked you, thought so as well). "Paid to edit Wikipedia" does not necessarily mean that you have an employment contract with Wikipedia, it just means that you do it as part of your work duties. I believe you are an employee of a marketing / PR firm that was contracted by Dedert, though not a Dedert employee properly; in that case, you must disclose your employer (that would be the PR firm) and your client(s) (I assume Dedert, Swapno Sarothi, maybe others?), to comply with the paid-contribution disclosure.
If you are not paid to edit Wikipedia, please explain in detail why you are interested in Dedert and Swapno Sarothi, which is surely a weird combination of interests. Also, I appreciate that you wrote above that English is your fourth language, but your posts are clear enough to understand, so I find it hard to believe that I tried to include our firm profile and other information that is already on our website and other similar sentences are a language mistake. If your interests really are that diverse and not motivated by work duties, I would encourage you to edit our article Education in Bangladesh (which is in dire need of attention), or Drying, once you get unblocked; trying to create new articles is much harder.
You are free to disregard what I wrote, but I am fairly sure the chances of getting unblocked go down a lot if you do. It’s ok to be a paid editor; it's ok to make mistakes when you start; but it’s not ok to lie to us and waste our time. I told everything,
in first text, i said as if i'm one of them. and you guys suspended me. i know its my fault, i said this lie after begging license from the company. i thought, if i told i'm one of them, you provide permission to post. i had no idea about paid contribution and conflict rules, i was misguided by a YouTube video.
yes i was lying, will not in future. Promise
okay. i wanted to become a good contributor of Wikipedia.
allow me for other work. or give me any topics that i can improve by research. Any free topics,
at least allow me as a reader. Don't block from wiki, sometimes i use wiki for my educational research. if you block, its hard to collect information's from my college library every time.
And pls don't share my profile with Dedert or Swapno Sarothi, if they find that their content has been removed for my fault/spamming/digital illiteracy. Don't know, if they take action from police case :(
I need to learn more about Wikipedia. if you guys send me any official tutorial, will very helpful for me.
I beg your permission for unblocking.
i don't have knowledge of html codes. No way to take help from an expert. So, i don't know about unblocking Request. But hardly begging for this.
Once again Big sorry for wasting your valuable time :( Smfaysal1011 (talk) 13:24, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Note that being blocked does not prevent merely reading Wikipedia, blocks only prevent editing. You may follow the instructions to request to be unblocked. 331dot (talk) 13:32, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
summery
There is no connection with Dedert LTD, but i mailed them for license,
Swapno Sarothi is a non-profit Voluntary club of my college where i had got my college degree.
I disclosed this, I'll never do this which is against you. and not try anything before learning more about Wikipedia. Smfaysal1011 (talk) 13:35, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
You still have not formatted a correct unblock request. The way to use the "html code" (actually a Wikipedia-specific template) is described in the links of the message at the start of this section. If you really want to become a "good contributor of Wikipedia", you need to be able to read and apply relatively simple instructions.
I am willing to believe you have a non-work relationship with Swapno Sarothi. I am not willing to believe that a Bengladeshi student decided on a whim to create an article about a minor US chemical company. Maybe the administrator who reviews your unblock request will believe you.
If / when you get unblocked, you can try WP:TWA as a tutorial. TigraanClick here for my talk page ("private" contact) 09:32, 14 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
