January 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Fabrizio Miccoli has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/6159/38153a.jpg. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 12:07, 24 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Fabrizio Miccoli do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

June 2013 edit

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Javier Saviola, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 14:43, 8 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Royston Drenthe. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 18:21, 18 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Infobox dates edit

Hi, when updating infobox stats could you update the 'pcupdate' or 'club-update' parameter by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Cheers, Mattythewhite (talk) 17:46, 11 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

December 2013 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Andrew Johnson (English footballer), without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.

Please don't make random changes to footballer infoboxes. The appearances you added to Johnson's QPR stats were not correct as at the date in the infobox timestamp, nor were they up to date as of last night's match. Struway2 (talk) 17:57, 4 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Miguel Monteiro may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • | currentclub =[Free agent]]

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 16:33, 11 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Fabrizio Miccoli, you may be blocked from editing.

When you update player infobox stats, please also update |club-update=, the date at which those stats are correct. If you don't, you're introducing an error into the page and misleading the reader. Fabrizio Miccoli had 10 appearances after the match played today (15 December), not as of 4 December as you left the infobox. Thank you for your understanding. Struway2 (talk) 19:49, 15 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

January 2014 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Fabrizio Miccoli, you may be blocked from editing.

And again, please STOP adding errors to footballer pages by changing infobox stats without changing the correct-as-of date to match. Struway2 (talk) 13:13, 5 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

ADD the PC update PLEASE! It's the last thing that appears in the infobox, PC for club games and goals, NT for national teams. Respect the other people's work, can you please do that? It's VERY easy. --AL (talk) 21:29, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

March 2014 edit

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Daniel Niculae. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

According to the sources, Niculae had 2 appearances for Rapid as of 17 March, not 3 appearances and 1 goal. If you actually meant to update for his performance in a more recent game, please remember to update the |club-update= or |pcupdate= infobox parameter to a date or date/time **after** the game in question. It seems from earlier messages on this page that you've been told about this **many** times before. Please stop misleading the reader by adding incorrect information. Thank you. Struway2 (talk) 08:26, 23 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

April 2014 edit

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Arnaldo Edi Lopes da Silva, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Please take heed of the above message regarding infobox dates. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:39, 3 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

May 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Wallace Oliveira dos Santos may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • | currentclub = [[Chelsea F.C.|Chelsea]])

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 15:59, 17 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Miccoli US Lecce.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Miccoli US Lecce.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 11:18, 22 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Stats in football players' infoboxes edit

Hi, when you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the |pcupdate= (or |club-update=) parameter. This shows when the stats were last updated and prevents editors from accidentally updating the stats again. Thank you. --Jaellee (talk) 11:07, 30 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
