Welcome!

Hello, Slycooper100, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like G-Man's Reviews, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted (if it hasn't already).

Speedy deletion of "G-Man's Reviews" edit

A page you created, G-Man's Reviews, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a website, but it does not indicate how it is important or significant, and thus why it should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for websites in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. ArglebargleIV (talk) 02:41, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re: Fog Warning (film) edit

Please take a moment to review Wikipedia's guidelines on external links and conflict of interest to assist in understanding why I have removed this material:

  • "11. Links to blogs and personal web pages, except those written by a recognized authority (this exception is meant to be very limited; as a minimum standard, recognized authorities always meet Wikipedia's notability criteria for biographies)."
  • "[I]n line with Wikipedia policies, you should avoid linking to a site that you own, maintain, or represent."
  • "Conflict of interest often presents itself in the form of self-promotion, including advertising links, personal website links...
  • Examples of these types of material include:
[...]*2. Links that appear to promote otherwise obscure individuals by pointing to their personal pages."

Sockpuppetry case edit

You have been accused of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/G-man80. Thank you.
