I see you are still developing the article on that assembly of the Synod of Bishops. Have you seen this report of what Pope Francis himself has said of it? Esoglou (talk) 21:20, 10 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Chapeau.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Chapeau.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Boston Christmas Tree. Since you had some involvement with the Boston Christmas Tree redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. kelapstick(bainuu) 13:22, 1 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

The new QPQ rule was basically saying that all nominations require a QPQ before they can run. Since when the Synod hook runs, under the old rule you would have had 5 credits and would need to start doing them. But basically all you have to do is every time you nominate a DYK, you have to review one. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 17:26, 5 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Looking through your archives, you appear to have 5 credits. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 23:31, 8 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:Dedham Maruader.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Dedham Maruader.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 15:49, 21 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Non-free use of File:Dedham Maruader.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Dedham Maruader.jpg. However, there is a concern that the use of the image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. Details of this problem, and which specific criteria that the image may not meet, can be obtained by going to the image description page. If you feel that this image does meet those criteria, please place a note on the image description or talk page explaining why. Do not remove the {{di-fails NFCC}} tag itself.

An administrator will review this file within a few days, and having considered the opinions placed on the image page, may delete it in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion or remove the tag entirely. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 17:42, 21 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Copying within Wikipedia

edit

I noticed you recently split the Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev article. This appears to have been a perfectly fine thing to do, but when you copied the text you didn't provide any sort of attribution. While Wikipedia's content is free, the reuse of it (including on Wikipedia) requires attribution. Failure to do so makes it look like you wrote the text yourself and creates a copyright violation. Don't feel bad - this is a common mistake - but please do read WP:Copying within Wikipedia and follow the proper procedure next time. I already fixed everything for you this time via use of the {{copied}} template, which is probably the best way to document copying in general and especially is useful when a former article ends up as redirect - we don't want to accidentally delete the redirect later, as that too would create a copyright violation, and the template helps prevent this.

Thanks for your understanding and good luck in your future Wikipedia activities. --ThaddeusB (talk) 00:39, 13 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Wikipedia articles should be based on more than one source. Look for additional reliable sources that will provide more information.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Eddie Blick (talk) 19:32, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
