Invite to the African Destubathon

edit

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

A page you started (Zaman Al'ar) has been reviewed!

edit

Thanks for creating Zaman Al'ar, Slayym!

Wikipedia editor Boleyn just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

At the moment, there is no indication in the article as to why it is notable - not all TV shows are. Reviews/articles on it would help, or further info.

To reply, leave a comment on Boleyn's talk page.

Hello, thanks for responding. It did not have any references but I have added that now. References are sources used in the creation of the article; external links just means suggestions for further reading. I have contacted you previously about two articles which are tagged for the same issue. Thanks,, Boleyn (talk) 13:30, 27 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

2009–10 Saudi Second Division moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, 2009–10 Saudi Second Division, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Deletion discussion about Al-Anwar Club Stadium

edit

Hello, Slayym

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Willbb234 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Al-Anwar Club Stadium, should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Al-Anwar Club Stadium.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Willbb234}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Proposed deletion of Darb Alzalaq

edit

The article Darb Alzalaq has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not appear to be notable. Nothing found in a BEFORE. Tagged for notability since 2017

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
