The article Exotic Programming Languages has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No article, mere list with no added value; suggest implementing as a category instead.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TJRC (talk) 00:56, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- It is not clear whether you are trying to create a list article like List of functional programming topics or a navigation template like Template:Programming paradigms. In any case, transclusion of one page from article space into other articles is a very unusual thing to do, and probably needs some justification. Gandalf61 (talk) 09:28, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Template:ExoticProgrammingLanguagesSeeAlso
editRegarding {{ExoticProgrammingLanguagesSeeAlso}}... "See also" should be populated by links deemed appropriate to the article on a case-by-case basis, not templated in without determining whether each individual link is appropriate. You need to meet WP:SEEALSO for each of the proposed links; and the general practice ofnot linking to articles already linked in the body of the article makes templating this way a difficult approach, anyway. I think that what you are trying to do here is already sufficiently addressed by category:Esoteric programming languages. TJRC (talk) 00:46, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
Template:ExoticProgrammingLanguagesSeeAlso has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. TJRC (talk) 17:34, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
