"For some people, it may be crucial to receive an apology from those who have offended them. For this reason, a sincere apology is often the key to the resolution of a conflict: an apology is a symbol of forgiveness. An apology is very much recommended when one person's perceived incivility has offended another."

Ok, I apologize to Zeq for suggesting that he shouldn't disclose personal information about other editors (e.g. HOTR, Zero), or otherwise engage in harassment. I'm sorry Zeq. I apologize for suggesting that he should adhere to NPOV and check his contributions for spelling and grammatical errors. I'm sorry Zeq. I have to apologize here and not on his page though since SlimVirgin has protected it.[1] She also removed my comment to Zeq which read: "I am not User:HOTR[2], He's from Canada (or so I read in the article you started about his real-life identity) while I edit from either Stockholm or Amsterdam. The reason I used a sockpuppet was because of continuous harassment, including a few threatening emails. /SlaveCrixus 10:33, 7 July 2006 (UTC)"[3] Thank you and have a nice day. /SlaveCrixus 11:02, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Alternative to checkuser

edit

An alternative to check user is to send e-mails (not through wikipedia, but direct from your e-mail program) to a mutually trusted admin (or editor) who can do some verifications. This comes down to the same level of security as checkuser has (or even better). -- Kim van der Linde at venus 13:59, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

SlaveCrixius, you have been accused of being my sockpuppet due to your nature of your edits. I would appreciate it if you could please email Kim above so that we can disprove that accusation - you can trust her not to reveal your identity. Homey 14:17, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fine

edit

Kim,

Maybe you can unblock son of zion (another sock pupet) and have him mail you as well. Zeq 16:16, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

There is no need for unblocking before they can send me an e-mail, but that person can do that as well. -- Kim van der Linde at venus 16:25, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
