Revert

Please don't revert without explanation. What seems to be the disruptive in my edits? –Ctrlwiki (talk) 11:30, 1 February 2022 (UTC)

@Ctrlwiki you a deliberately editing sentences to incorrect grammar. Please stop your disruptive editing. Slashlefty (talk) 12:10, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
New user? What grammar you are talking about. You are the one disruptive, you are placing a word in the middle of maintenance templates, what the heck. –Ctrlwiki (talk) 12:11, 1 February 2022 (UTC)

February 2022

I know you're a new editor on here, but don't just remove information, there is a reason why the citation needed template is there. Read on it before doing as you please. Read here WP:CITENEED Btspurplegalaxy 🗩 🖉 02:24, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Maurizio Gucci. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Btspurplegalaxy 🗩 🖉 02:33, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Patrizia Reggiani, you may be blocked from editing. Mako001 (C)  (T)  12:18, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi Slashlefty! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. –Ctrlwiki (talk) 01:47, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

Jiwoo moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Jiwoo, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Final warning for WP:HOUNDING

Consider this your final warning, WP:HOUNDING is totally unacceptable. Pull one more stunt like that and you will have a notice informing you of an WP:ANI discussion. Mako001 (C)  (T)  12:39, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

No need to be a bully with those threats. Calm down and explain how i was hounding you? I restored my edits thats all. Slashlefty (talk) 12:41, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
On Barnes FC? You saw the IPs query above, and, without even allowing me a chance to reply and point them towards Wp:Copying within wikipedia went ahead and reverted me with a summary which suggested that I was some sort of enemy. They aren't threats either, they're promises. Mako001 (C)  (T)  12:44, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
At least you added a source, but the manner in which you did so was not necessary. Mako001 (C)  (T)  12:46, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
@Mako001 apologies if you got offended. That wasnt my intention and that isnt who i am. I hope we can work together moving forward and help make Wikipedia a better place. Slashlefty (talk) 12:48, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
Well, you didn't exactly need to apologise, but it certainly gives me a good deal of relief that you are here to build an encyclopedia. Please go careful with the numbers after templates, especially if templating an editor in otherwise good standing, as a small change can totally change the entire meaning of the template. Also, if you make an edit that deletes sourced material, or indeed any material, it is best to explain why, even if it was part of a larger copyediting spree, for example you could use the summary "copyedit, also removed reference to "black widow" from lead and infobox becuase... etc." Otherwise, whilst the edit is explained, the deletion isn't, and it isn't unheard of for sophisticated POV pushers to do a typo correction or two, say they made improvements, yet have deleted an entire sourced paragraph later on per WP:IDONTLIKEIT. Obviously that is a far cry from this situation, but it sort of illustrates the need to fully explain deletion. I will now get lost, and go back to some other stuff elsewhere, before I overstay my welcome, I hope I haven't already. Cheerio, and my apologies to you as well. Mako001 (C)  (T)  13:09, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
It's all good. I will definitely take your advice in the future. Glad we both came to an understanding. Happy ending friend! :) Slashlefty (talk) 11:16, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

Pertaining to your edit

Are you copying my/ (other users) edit? As my observation pertaining to your edit, you actually copying me and other editor. Example, if I remove something in an article, you also remove the same thing in other article. –Ctrlwiki (talk) 10:57, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

unless ive made a disruptive edit, is there a problem? Slashlefty (talk) 10:59, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
You did so many disruption, so stop copying my edit. –Ctrlwiki (talk) 11:04, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 13:03, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

OS

@Jayron32 @Catfish Jim and the soapdish can you please suppress this too thanks Slashlefty (talk) 03:50, 5 February 2022 (UTC)

OS requested. Anyway, I am somewhat disappointed to see you blocked, and I had hoped that you had learnt from your previous mistakes. Take this as some time out, and I hope that you can return as a useful contributor, who is able to collaborate effectively. Also, just as a heads up, your unblock request will likely be declined as it doesn't address the reason for the block adequately, or show that you actually understand why you were blocked. You may want to remove the request, read the guide to appealing blocks, and rewrite your request with that in mind. Mako001 (C)  (T)  04:51, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
I will keep that in mind thank you kindly. For now I will just take a break and focus on work as im not sure how else to improve my appeal. I will wait a week and come back with a clearer conscience. Slashlefty (talk) 05:21, 5 February 2022 (UTC)

MOS:UPRIGHT

Read MOS:UPRIGHT. To sum it, upright is essentially responsive design and it function according to the values you have setted in your Preferences > Appearances > Thumbnail Size (default should be 220px), if you want to have larger than you have to change to own preference. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 14:02, 8 February 2022 (UTC)

Duly noted, thanks for the heads up. Slashlefty (talk) 14:03, 8 February 2022 (UTC)

Please consider reverting your close of the discussion at Talk:List of Wikipedia controversies#Merge Wikipedia Star Trek Into Darkness controversy to List of Wikipedia controversies. Per WP:RMNAC, such discussions should only be close by non-administrators when the closer is "highly experienced", which an editor like yourself with under 500 edits that only signed up 6 weeks ago is not, and even then it should only be closed by a non-administrator when the consensus (or lack of) is clear, which is not the case in that discussion as the comments are evenly split. --Ahecht (TALK
