Hi Sky Harbor, the article PNR is using this info of fact-index (a wiki mirror, as you might know). It's a copy of the original article somewhere around here. I'm not fluent in English at all, and I hope you can rewrite this section with another source, it can't stay this way of course. I'm Maryana, a research fellow for the Wikimedia Foundation. I wanted to direct your attention to this -- a fellowship program I'm running this summer that seeks to pair graduate students working in the humanities with veteran Wikipedians from different language projects, with the goal of producing histories of non-English Wikipedia communities. Translation help

I'd be very much thankful if you can translate this. It's a Weekend Weekly (a Hong Kong-based periodical) article on the Oblation Run. It's among the few reliable sources that I can find, and the only non-Filipino source for that matter. So its content will be very much helpful to the article. Wikimedia Membership

Thanks for the offer but nah. I try not to focus on Philippine-related articles really, and would prefer if it stayed that way, heh. I watchlist Tambayan though, so if ever a Bisaya is needed I'll try to help. Technically, I'm Mindanaoan though, LOL. -- Obsidi♠n Soul 14:59, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Membership in the chapter does not mean not editing articles outside the scope of the community. I still edit non-Philippines articles, especially on the Tagalog Wikipedia. At the same time, membership in the chapter is independent of being an editor, and it is possible to separate both (though in my case, that might be a bit too difficult) and be a productive editor while promoting Wikimedia in your community. Still, if you ever need anything from the chapter, like organizing a meetup in your area, feel free to ask. :) --Sky Harbor ^(talk) 15:08, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
