About your edit on Borscht edit

Hello! I invite you to the Borscht's talk page. Apparently they dug up another, 100% Russia-related, word for beet soups of some kind: "buraki" (from "burak", dialectism for "svokla" I am aware of). Core difference: they used put flour in the soup. In my family, similar thing happens to "borscht" as well. Yes, they thicken the beet soup. They pour oil/mix smetana/mix modern "liquid cheese" in the borscht-tier soup; widely altering the recipe from Ukraine's trad style. Uchyot (talk) 07:48, 9 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Plz ignore my previous post: I moved my opinion to the talk page now. ADDITIONAL INFO: I looked up "борщ", and faced this opinion: "Автор «Домостроя» называет растение борщ, борщевик несомненно возникло позднее" - apparently, it needs more investigating.
