Howdy, I saw that you replaced the ranks of several Chernobyl firefighters with just "firefighter." This seems less informative than their actual formal rank. Also, it would be best to retain the citation of Higginbotham's book, rather than replaced sourced information with unsourced.Sredmash (talk) 14:14, 31 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I thought it'd make it simpler to put "firefighter" as the role, the rank of the fireman can be seen in the information box next to it.
About the unsourced information - Higginbotham's account of events that night is highly dubious at times. All of the edits I made to the firefighters' information largely comes from eyewitness accounts, Leonid Telyatnikov being the main one, as well as diagrams formulated by surviving firefighters which directly contrast Higginbotham's book. I'll do my best to state my source however the majority of it doesn't come from a published book, rather memoirs from survivors given across interviews etc. Skinneh1738 (talk) 22:50, 2 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
