RT (TV Network) edit

This edit [1] doesn't seem to be about improving the article, so I thought I'd drop a note here. I not sure that anyone can help you, I can only suggest that you persevere with reading the noticeboard discussions and maybe read some of the article's sources and hopefully you will find enlightenment. All the best. Trappedinburnley (talk) 01:24, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

December 2015 edit

You have come dangerously close to being indefinitely blocked as someone who is not there to build an encyclopedia. If you want to avoid this, the first step would be to realize that fellow editors should be treated with respect, and such edits are utterly unacceptable.--Ymblanter (talk) 09:55, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
And it happened indeed.--Ymblanter (talk) 18:05, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
It seems a bit arbitrary to me. What do you think your fellow admins would say about this block? I understand that some may see me as a pain in the neck, but wikipedia can only improve if a system of check and balances is adopted. I am sorry but Ukrainian sources written in Ukrainian are hardly good sources for en.wikipedia.org. I do believe that people like me help improve Wikipedia, and I just told you why. Wny don't you? Cheers, --Sixtytwoonefiftyfouroneninesevenninenine (talk) 18:17, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • After looking at other edits by this contributors (e.g. here [2] - WP:NPA problem or [3] - refusal to listen and other comments on contributors), I completely support this block. My very best wishes (talk) 18:27, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Are you an admin, as well, MVBW? --Sixtytwoonefiftyfouroneninesevenninenine (talk) 18:32, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
I'm not a "fellow Admin" but as a fellow editor, I'd say this block is spot on. Cheers, Mlpearc (open channel) 18:32, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
If I wanted to be disruptive, I could, but I just want to make wikipedia better. That's all. Cheers, --Sixtytwoonefiftyfouroneninesevenninenine (talk) 18:45, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Your 'discussion' on the RT talk page is disruptive and uncivil already. This hardly speaks to wanting to make Wikipedia 'better'. You're pushing the envelope, and I'd suggest that you strike it through once you're unblocked.
While you're about it, I'd also suggest that you make it known that you are this IP and be sure not to accidentally start editing from that IP in future. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 20:53, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Sixtytwoonefiftyfouroneninesevenninenine, do not lose courage, you are doing a good job. You should know that you are up against a tag team consisting mainly of Iryna Harpy, My very best wishes, Volunteer Marek, Ymblanter and some others, who consider articles on Russia or Ukraine to be their property. Try to alert other editors, if you are alone they will have you indeffed in no time.
The edit summary here [4], seems to be a reference to a message you left on my talkpage [5]. This implies that both edits are yours? This would be a little odd as 5.170.212.254 geolocates to Lonigo, Italy [6] whereas 62.154.197.99 is in Wathlingen, Germany [7]. If I had a suspicious nature alarm bells would ring.
