RfA Thank you

re territorial disputes

Please read the talk section for this. I did have a great deal of my work deleted, and although there were possibly errors, a great deal of it was sourced and references put in the talk section. I believe some parts should be reinstated, and as my time is VERY limited, any help from experienced Wikipedians is gratefully accepted. I am not in any sort of edit war or anything; also my post to the deleter is conciliatory, at least. My RFA

Thank you for your vote in my RFA, which succeeded with a final tally of 66-0-4. If there's anything I can help you with now that I'm an admin, please let me know on my talk page. Again, thanks! Mangojuicetalk 20:56, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

Thank you.

My thanks for the helpfull pointers you gave me. I hope to do more good work here in the future. --Emperors Harbinger 16:22, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Correct football articles "to follow MOS"

Siva - when you amend football articles, quoting the MOS, please change the link you are using to football to go to football rather than the disambiguation page for just football like you have been doing recently. - fchd 16:36, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Infoboxes

you have commented on the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Thoroughbred racing that the info box i have created is very detailed. Do you mean in content or in format? I am interested on learning how to create a much more simple infoxbox if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks (dark horse 22:27, 6 July 2006 (UTC))

Gilles Villeneuve

You commented a while back on the suggestion that Gilles Villeneuve be 'Selected Article' on portal:Formula One. Damon Hill was the first one picked, but Villeneuve was next up. We managed to improve the Hill article up through GA to FA status, so I'm trying to get a regular article improvement drive going on, and am currently pushing Villeneuve as the next selected article, on the basis that we need to get it to around GA level first. If you have an interest and wish to help out you'll be very welcome. See talk:Gilles Villeneuve for suggestions as to what needs doing. Cheers. 4u1e 09:41, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Werdna's RfA

Siva, you stated on Werdna's RfA that he had "contributed greatly to Wikipedia" and was "an asset to the project", but that his "incivility was an immense concern".

I really must question, how, particularly in light of your positive comments, you can come to the conclusion that Werdna had any problem with civility based on a) one comment, and b) one comment that I can't even see was rude.

What, precisely, do you feel he has done that makes him unfit to be an admin? As an observer, I personally felt your vote was patronising and unjustified, and I'd like to see you provide some justification for it. Rebecca 11:06, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

You didn't answer my question. I'm asking you, specifically, to provide a rationale for your vote. Rebecca 03:35, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

My RfA thanks

Hello Siva1979/Archive 7, and thank you for your support at my Request for Adminship, which succeeded with an overwhelming final count of (105/2/0). I was very pleased with the outpouring of kind words from the community that has now entrusted me with these tools, from the classroom, the lesson in human psychology and the international resource known as Wikipedia. The Free Encyclopedia. Please feel free to leave me plenty of requests, monitor my actions (through the admin desk on my userpage) and, if you find yourself in the mood, listen to some of what I do in real life. In any case, keep up the great work and have a fabulous day. Grandmasterka 07:37, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your support!

FilmsWikiProject tag

You can grade the article by adding the |class= inside the tag. The values are "Stub", "Start", and "B". "GA", "A", and "FA" are reserved for official channels only. I keep see movie adistions to the Category:Unassessed film articles and this can be easily fixed if you just added the class. Thanks. Read the front of Wikipedia:WikiProject Films for more info. --  Shane (talk/contrib) 16:12, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Yeah. I installed a private javascript that does the tagging for me, but that is the idea. Check out Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment for "rating" info. --  Shane (talk/contrib) 16:38, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for contributing the impressive the pile of supports gathered on my RfA, which passed with a final tally of 0x0104/0x01/0x00. I'm happy that so many people have put faith in my abilities as an admin and promise to use the tools wisely and do my best not to let you down. If I ever may be of assistance, just leave a note on my talk page.
Misza13, the rouge-on-demand admin wishes you happy editing!

Eluchil404's RfA

Thank you for taking the time to express an opinion in my recent request for adminship. I have withdrawn my self-nomination because there seemed little prospect for further productive discussion or the formation of a consensus to promote. Many commentators offered constructive critisism that I will use to improve myself as a user. Others suggested that the nomination was premature and that a re-nom in a few months would be more likely to gain consensus. The reason you identified for your opinion in the RfA was per Tony. If you have the time, I would appreciate suggestions for specific actions that I could tak to remedy the problems identified by Tony Sidaway. If not, no problem; I still appreciate the feedback. Eluchil404 19:53, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

My RfA

Thank you so much for voting in my recent RFA. It passed on the relatively narrow vote of 38/8/8. It was also one of the least-participated-in RFA nominations in several months, so pat yourself on the back, and join the party on your left, but first, take your cookie!

Minor football divisions

I'm not sure that we need so many separate articles for each division of minor leagues below the National League System - individual club articles below step 7 may also be prone to deletion. You might like to look at the various discussions on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football about consolidating leagues into a single article each, and about a defined threshold for club articles. Cheers — sjorford++ 14:49, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

my RfA

Thanks for your support in my RfA! Unfortunately, the request did not pass, with a vote of (43/16/7). But your support was appreciated and I'll just keep right on doing what I do. Maybe I'll see ya around -- I'll be here!
Cheers! - CheNuevara 17:28, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks from Yanksox!

Hey, Siva, thanks for supporting my RfA, which registered a tally of 104/4/7. Which means...

I am now an admin!!!

I was and still am very flattered by all the kind comments that I recieved, I will also take into account the comments about how I could improve. I guarantee I will try my best to further assist Wikipedia with the mop. Feel free to drop in and say hi or if you need anything. Again, thank you so much! Yanksox 04:05, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Hey Siva1979, just updated and edited my homepage, tell me what you think. Citikiwi 05:14, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks Siva1979 for having a look, all my friends on Wikipedia are British or American, and the vast majority of them have a broadband connection so I think I'll be fine, however I may take some contradictory ones out, like the 'I drink nothing but Dr Pepper' and the 'User drinks Mountain Dew' Citikiwi 21:39, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Inconsistency on templates?

Isn't there an inconsistency on the "User 6 000e" and similar templates? The template is called "6 000" but displays the number as "6000" without a space.--Runcorn 07:09, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

No, I won't change the templates. I personally think that they look better with no space, though I won't oppose the change.--Runcorn 18:16, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Wickethewok's RFA

Thanks for your support on my RFA. The final vote count was (61/9/3), so I am now an administrator. Feel free to let me know how I'm doing at any point in time or if you need anything. Once again, thank you. Wickethewok 15:35, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
