Welcome! edit

Hello, Sitegallery, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Site Gallery edit

I have reverted your edits on this page because, really, a year-by-year list of all the gallery's exhibits, be they major or trivial, is not needed. (See WP:INDISCRIMINATE.) A listing of the gallery's significant events (showings by major artists, etc) might be useful.

Also, please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's username policy as it regards using an organization name. Your name puts you in violation of this policy, and is reason on its own for your account to be blocked. You should consider requesting a new user name. Reintroduced material edit

I see that you're new at Wikipedia, and may not know how the general flow of things goes, so let me take a moment to explain. Wikipedia has a policy called Bold, Revert, Discuss. What it means is that you should be bold in making changes (which you did), but then if your changes are reverted (which they were), you should follow this up with discussion (preferably at the talk page of the affected page) to build consensus for the changes you are trying to make. I won't revert you again, yet, but I do ask that you enter into a discussion of the matter at Talk:Site Gallery. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:08, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Sitegallery. You have new messages at WikiDan61's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Thank you for your comment. I will get to work at rectifying the errors mentioned. I have already removed the additions I have made so far. Obviously, as a new user this is all rather confusing, thanks for your patience.

Actually, no you didn't remove the additions you made. But I've taken care of that for you. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:27, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
