Civility and respect edit

Edits like this are rarely constructive. You have registered and shown up in an area of high conflict; I strongly recommend you avoid it or you are liable to get blocked. Stifle (talk) 08:34, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Put your threats away now, buddy. I supplied a reference, it recorded an important development in the subject matter, and moreover has been accepted into the article. I'm not the one to blame for karma coming to murdering Tamils in Sri Lanka, I'm to blame for seeing that it's recorded.Sinhalaa (talk) 09:07, 20 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Actually, despite Stifle's rather restrained warning above, the edit summary "(Tamils, you are now our slaves.)" is obvious intentional disruption of Wikipedia in violation of our policies, using Wikipedia as a soapbox in violation of our policies, bringing an external conflict into Wikipedia in violation of our policies, and just so rude and uncivil as to pretty much preclude any further contributions you might make here.
That's not what Wikipedia is here for. This was blatantly abusive and unacceptable behavior.
Your account has been blocked from editing. You will not get editing privileges back unless you clearly indicate that you understand Wikipedia policies and our core values and that you will not contribute rude or abusive comments or content to Wikipedia again. Request reason:

wholly improper double jeopardy when one admin has found circumstances not justifying blocking for another admin to traduce and countermand that finding. Unblock and address issue of second admin's corruption in that.Sinhalaa (talk) 09:02, 20 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Unblock request is based on process. Wikipedia is not a bureaucracy. Ryan Delaney talk 09:09, 20 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

It is forbidden to put cool down blocks for merely once-off instances. Disruption block is only for activity that can be termed -persistent- (ie. repeated) and therefore cannot be applied in this circumstance either. Start applying your announced policies without hypocrisy now .. for a change. Your apology is also sought for not unblocking on the previous request, additionally.Sinhalaa (talk) 09:30, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Your edits were indeed disruptive; this unblock request does not indicate that you would edit differently if unblocked. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 11:28, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I laugh at your evasion. Step out of the hypocrisy and explain how 'persistence' can occur from one action only.

Decline reason:

I can add nothing to the explanations which you have already received, except to concur with them. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 14:28, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sorry; I didn't realize that you didn't understand why you are blocked. You are blocked because your edits show a consistent pattern of pushing of your specific point of view, and because it doesn't look as though you are interested in doing anything else. This isn't a 'cooling-off' block for a single edit, but an indefinite block because your goals do not seem to be those of Wikipedia's principles. Wikipedia isn't the appropriate place to try to fight a civil war; you are simply one of many people who misunderstood what the encyclopedia can do, so you join the many people who are blocked for trying to use Wikipedia to fight out their national battles. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 13:26, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
