You are obviously new to Wikipedia. Please realize that there are well-established policies and guidelines in place. I highly recommend that you read WP:RS, WP:V. WP:MOS, WP:consensus, and WP:BRD, just to name a few. I am not trying to prevent you from editing. I am simply saying we have well-established processes in place for making changes, especially to prominent sections of an important article such as the lead WP:lead.
