April 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Paridhi Sharma, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 21:04, 5 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Yamaguchi先生. Thank you for making me aware of my mistake. Unfortunately, I had made a whole lot of changes to that page, but due to faulty internet connection, it failed to get saved. I will keep in mind your suggestions in the future while making correction. Thank you very much. Sikhwarriorspirit (talk) 22:39, 5 April 2016 (UT

April 2016 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Paridhi Sharma, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 23:09, 14 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Surbhi Jyoti. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 23:41, 14 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Water supply and sanitation in Canada— because it did not appear to be constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. –Qpalzmmzlapq T C 00:05, 29 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I would like you to know that I did NOT make any corrections, additions, or deletions to that page. Please direct this message to the correct user. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sikhwarriorspirit (talkcontribs) 02:45, 2 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

But the edit came from your account. No one will buy the "my little brother did it" excuse here. —Qpalzmmzlapq T C 21:50, 3 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

December 2016 edit

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Diff: [1] Subjective content, in this case, your use of the subjective, hyperbolic and non-neutral terminology "triumphantly", does not belong in articles. It's not appropriate for us to editorialize in articles. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:33, 18 December 2016 (UTC

A tag has been placed on Meera Deosthale requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I am currently under the process of editing this page. Please give me some time, and I will make sure that this article follows Wikipedia guidelines and is supported with reliable sources as well. Sikhwarriorspirit (talk) 17:09, 6 January 2017 (UTC) Robert McClenonReply

User:Sikhwarriorspirit - If you need advice on how to create an article in user space so that it won't be subject to speedy deletion in article space, ask for advice on using draft space at the Teahouse. Articles that are very incomplete in article space, as this one is, are subject to speedy deletion. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:16, 6 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.   Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Meera Deosthale. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. A kitten for you! edit

Thank you for posting the page on Meera Deosthale. It is great to get stubs up for young notable actresses, particularly non-US individuals to help fight systemic bias. I just voted keep in that discussion, and wanted to give a little recommendation - that if you make sure to find at least 3 good newspaper sources (not interviews, however) focusing predominantly on the artist, and you make sure to stick them inline on your draft before you post live, that will likely save you from having them nominated for speedy deletion or deletion discussions. They don't need to be full references, and a simple URL works fine. Just a waste to see your pages questioned, when an extra five minutes of work and you could be saved the alarming red tags. Keep up the excellent work!

Yvarta (talk) 19:12, 6 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

SWS: You should also familiarize yourself with WP:NACTOR and WP:GNG our two important notability criteria for actors and everything else. Establishing notability should be the very first aim in a new article, per Yvarta's notes above. Cyphoidbomb (talk)

Thank you very much for appreciating my work! I will definitely keep these suggestions in mind in the future. Yvarta (talk) Sikhwarriorspirit (talk) 22:06, 10 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Draft:Namik Paul edit

Hello there, I'm curious about why you made this edit. Could you explain? It removed the AfC template, and the submitter was very confused. If this was a mistake, please be more careful in future. Thank you! Waggie (talk) 15:14, 9 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

I'm very sorry to hear this, I will be much more careful in the future. My intention was to try and publish the page so that it is visible to everyone since the person that the article is about gets the recognition he deserves. Sikhwarriorspirit (talk) 22:09, 10 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

WP:TVCAST edit

Hi there, re: this edit, per WP:TVCAST valid subsections for a cast list are Main and Recurring. "Former cast" is not a valid subsection, because cast members and characters don't stop being of academic interest just because they're no longer on the series. A student studying the series would surely want to know whether a cast member was part of the main or recurring casts. And by extension of this thought process, if the series was cancelled, would everybody be moved to "Former"? No, that would be silly. Per WP:TVCAST, new additions to the cast are placed at the bottom of each list, so technically the people who are no longer on the series would be at the top. Thanks and regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:59, 11 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
