Attack pages

Thanks for tagging that article just now, I have zapped it; but with an attack article like that, there is a better way to handle it: blank all the contents, and add a {{db-attack}} or {{db-atk}} tag. That gets the attack off the screen quickly, so the vandal can't giggle over it, and also puts the page in a high-priority queue for admin attention. We get a regrettable number of these, and it's good to get rid of them quickly. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 11:00, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

...but's that's only for pages that are actually personal attacks: two you tagged that I deleted just now were not attacks but just pages with effectively nothing on them. {{db-a3}} or {{db-empty}} was the right tag for those. The full list is at WP:CSD, and you should study it carefully if you are going to do New Page Patrol - which is a good and useful thing to do. Altered speedy deletion rationale: Hannah Roth

Hello Siind, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I deleted Hannah Roth, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided. The speedy deletion criteria are extremely narrow and specific, and the process is more effective if the correct criterion is used. Removed speedy from Ratnesh_Dubey

I just wanted to inform you that I declined to delete Ratnesh_Dubey, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion under criterion A7 because of the following concern: the article is not about a real person, individual animal(s), organization or web content. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion and especially what is considered Non-criteria.
