This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of WITS (World Bank), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://wits.worldbank.org/WITS.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Hello, I'm Green Giant. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you.   This message is being sent to inform you that a discussion at Wikipedia:External links/Noticeboard is taking place regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

The links being added are to official statistics of the country as a new source is available from the World Bank. What is wrong with that. These links are not for any commercial purpose but more to make the users aware of this new new source. I am not sure why Green Giant and others have a problem with this. Can you please explain.

Please read over WP:LINKSPAM and WP:SPAMMER, Would be better if you tried to incorporate the link with context ....not just spamming the same link all over making it the default link people see - we are not here to promote the site by simply spamming the links. -- Moxy (talk) 18:46, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I was unaware of this rule, but the reason for adding was it felt sense to provide link to Trade Statistics for country in the economy page and the country page. It also made sense to give link only to that country's data instead of a generic page. I will leave it to you expert editors to handle this and not make any more updates unless there is a solution. The intention was not spamming but to provide access to individual country's trade statistics.
