There's nothing to "take charge of". If you're innocent, a checkuser will prove that. Let the case run its course and stop removing your name from it. Nothing in Wikipedia is hidden and you're not going to stop the report by removing your name because it will be added back. If anything, you vandalizing a sockpuppet report does little to help your case. In other words, chill out and go edit something other than that report constructively. If you are not a vandal, then what do you have to fear? If you are truly a constructive user dedicated to contributing to Wikipedia, you have nothing to lose, and in the end, the fair system here on Wikipedia will prove your innocence.
