Looking for help edit

Hi,

I was looking for some small help.Recently I created a new article en:Kithaab i.e. hi:किताब (नाटक)-a play about women rights issues- which has been copy edited and is ready for translation & being translated in various languages like Tamil ta:கித்தாப் Telugu te:కితాబ్ (మలయాళ నాటకం).

Looking for your possible help in translating the article en:Kithaab hi:किताब (नाटक) to your language Gujarati & Marathi Wikipedia. If you are unable to spare time yourself then may be you like to refer the same to some other translator.

Thanking you , with warm regards

Hi Bookku, Surely, I will give in Gujarati language quickly. Give me sometime. Need to read the entire article. Shwetamits (talk) 09:25, 25 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi Bookku. Article is almost ready in Gujarati. Will publish it by 15th March.Shwetamits (talk) 07:49, 5 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hey Bookku , the article has been added to Gujarati wikipedia as per your request. Check here IકથાબShwetamits (talk) 08:17, 20 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello once again. It is very nice of you. Because of co-operation of Wikipedians like yours we have been able to achieve 12 translations in various languages up till now. One more is ready & one promise. And most important majority of these translations are made by women Wikipedians themselves. I hope this activity helps in social education and change of mindset where women need such critical support. That is why I feel your support has been of immense value.

A minor query though I guess it seems you write કિ as Ki in Gujrati language. I can see word કિથાબ complete in rest of the article but in page title itself word rendering visible to me is like Iકથાબ . I do not know if it is supposed to be in the same way or my browser is making some mistake or I have not cleared cache of my browser. Of course this is a minor issue & you would have taken care already.

Let us be in touch in the same way, to help each other. Many Thanks again and warm regards.

Speedy deletion nomination of Sini Shetty edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sini Shetty requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Liz Read! July 2022 edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Sini Shetty. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! Hi, I was still editing the article. It wasnt final. So there were same words picked which were published in article. Now since its already in draft, I will make it proper as per guidelines. Also, as told by you, I tried to move article to requests for history merge but I didnt see that option anywhere.
Thanks for your guidance. Shweta. Shwetamits (talk) 10:40, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
