You're forgiven. I see that someone with no sense of humor took away your personal ad for your Mom. However, the 16th is almost over anyway. As far as murderers, commemorating their birth dates seems rather silly. It would be more fitting to commemorate their death dates. Like for example, the day that John Gacy was fried for killing 33 kids after raping and torturing them, the big meanie. "Supershadow" the next Director?

I read that George Lucas will direct Season 1, and "hand it off" to someone else during Seasons 2-4 (not sure what it said exactly). I think I read somewhere that a "Supershadow" will direct 2-4, and perhaps even film sequels (Episodes 7-9). Please post to User_Talk:Shultzii if you have any pertinent information.

SuperShadow is one of the biggest liars on the net. He has made hundreds of claims since the beginning of the prequels claiming he is friends with George Lucas himself. Shadow has even contradicted himself many times. The guy seems to really enjoy lying to the star wars community. There won't be a 7, 8, or 9, either directed by Lucas or SuperShadow, just this TV series. SuperShadow is just some loser named Mickey Suttle. Star Wars and requests

The easiest thing to do if you think an article should be created is to create it and then mark it as a stub. Otherwise, you can list your request on a subpage of Wikipedia:Requested articles. But all the Star Wars movies, of course, already have articles. See the bottom of Star Wars for links. There's no magic number of google hits. What's more important is that a number of distinct people seem to actually use the term, rather than just it seeming to be one person, or some very small number, trying to "promote" it. Obviously if it were a significant concept in a "real" publication that'd be a big help. Drop in on WP:AFD and you'll get a rough idea how people set their "notability" criteria in general. Ashley/Andrew

The feminine form of 'Andrew' is 'Andrea'; and, in fact, 'Andrea' is a nonsensical name, since it actually means 'manly'. 'Ashley' is traditionally a male name meaning 'clearing in the ash trees'; female forms are degenerative, but the name 'Ashley' as a female name has some popularity in the former confederacy. Apology accepted. Saying "**** you" just sounds too strong, no matter who its for, at least for my eyes. Also, my inner consciousness (or perhaps my "inner child") thinks it's for me for the first two seconds or so. It's so strong even the darkest Sith Lords never say it. (Then again, it's probably to keep the SW movies enjoyable by broader demographics, which means higher box office & DVD sales.) I just wish it would get old. Please Cite sources

The edit you made to Taji, Iraq, changing 39th BCT to 239th BCT was not correct. According to the source I found (on a US Gov website)(see the article), it was the 39th BCT. While this is a minor point, it shows a very important fact - Always Cite Your Sources. That way, someone can come along later and check them. Sorry to dump on you, but this is basic. I had actually forgotten that. So, when you left your comment, I picked up the phone and dialed his number. The operator said that the call would have to be charged as long-distance, so I decided to bill his phone with the call. :D When I tried to do that, the operator then said that his phone number will not allow people to charge to his phone or call collect. Relocating

It is OK as long as people can easily find them. Talk page archiving is a normal thing, since it usually grows huge over time. Usually it is done by moving a whole continuous block into an archive page, so that the sequence of events can be seen. But this is not a formal rule. re answerbag

yes, it seems that is how the vast majority of sites are displayed at Wikipedia. i.e. using a site's name without the .com I had previously run across Rediff.com and assumed that it was the case with all articles related to websites. Also I currently don't have a username there though I do enjoy reading the answers when I have the time and might create it soon since it has the same type of open endedness as Wikipedia is.

The communism vandal

As a part-time vandal-whacker, I agree that we need shortcuts to Wikipedia:Long term abuse/Wikipedia is Communism to add new account names as they are discovered and blocked. Thus I have created WP:WiC, WP:TCV, and even WP:☭ as meaningful redirects to his vandal profile. However a redirect from the article space is not appropriate for a number of reasons. That's why I agreed that it should be deleted. However, if the communism vandal begins attacking other websites (example: he proclaims that "Slashdot is Communism" or "IMDb is Communism"), he may become notable enough as an internet meme to merit an encyclopedic article. If this occurs, we could write an article about this general phenomenon and have "Wikipedia is Communism" redirect to it, and have a link at the bottom of it:

Paraphrasing

Paraphrasing "well enough" is adequate. But "well enough" means that no more than three words in a row can be the same. It's not just changing a word here and there. Whether the copyright holder could find the Wikipedia page by doing a word-for-word search is not the point. Legally, we could be guilty of plagiarism anyway. But Jimbo has said very clearly that the most important thing is more than the legal technicalities. It's about being able to say "we made this ourselves." Nampolese

Well, Chicago (Chicagoan) and Mexico (Mexican) come to mind... as does the fact that Korea has scores of placenames that end in "o", but I have never encountered the suffix "-lese" added to any of them (Mokpolese? Gunpolese? Jejudolese? Dokdolese?)

As a rule, there are no established adjectives for these places, or for other places in Korea and other non-English-speaking countries. People, places and things are usually simply referred to as "in X" or "from X", as in "He's from Seoul" or "that gochujang is from Sunchang."

Although I don't really know, a glance at History of Togo suggests that "Togolese" is a translation of the French Togolaise, Togo having once been a French colony. Please read WP:NOT. "Wikipedia is not censored for the protection of minors" is a specific statement of a more general rule, that includes "some articles may include objectionable text, images, or links, provided they do not violate any of our existing policies (especially Neutral point of view), nor the law of the U.S. state of Florida, where the servers are hosted." Chicano Park

Hi, I notice you put a clean-up tag on the Chicano Park article. In your edit summary, you wrote "Blocks of text make it all boring". I'm not sure exactly how to "clean up" the block format--I don't have any images of the park that would "unblock" the text. Are there any other ways to do it? Is it just the "blocks of text" that need to be cleaned up in your opinion? Because usually I have only seen that tag on articles that have factual inaccuracies, that cite no sources, that have many grammatical errors or that need wikification. If it is just the "blocks of text" that you object to, perhaps another tag would be more appropriate? I really have no idea how to improve it based on the one-sentence criticism. I believe it is generally customary to explain the reasoning behind the placement of a tag on an article's talkpage with specific recommendation for improvements, so if you could do that, I'd appreciate it. BTW, I have placed requests for images of the park on my userpage and on the Southern California WikiProject page, so it's not like I haven't tried to spice the article up.--Rockero420 16:23, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

encyclopedic style

The place for "why wasn't this created sooner" comments is a talk page, not the article itself. After all, that's your personal comment, not part of the description of the topic itself. Wikipedia has a lot of articles and lots of new ones being created all the time. You can't expect people to jump in and start editing your article. It might take weeks or months, you have to be patient. Putting a talk page comment into the page won't make anyone notice it any faster. For what it's worth, I've deleted User:ClockworkSeoul. There is no such user, and creating this page as a link to User:ClockworkSoul "in case he ever visits Seoul" is not particularly useful. Sometimes typo redirects are useful if they help users find content that they otherwise might have missed, however "wordgame" redirects that no one would ever actually type are not useful and only clutter Wikipedia. -- Curps 05:18, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

I don't usually issue replies like this as I usually reserve casual discussions to forums and online chatting, but in this case, I'll help save you the trouble of searching some of the information on the Interweb. Next time, however, you should have better luck asking around in or searching GTA forums or message boards.

Re:How to use Car Washes in GTA:SA

In the case of cars getting clean with a car wash, it appears the patch (upgrading the game to version 1.01 from 1.00) is required to enable this feature. I haven't tried it myself, but fell free to install it yourself after downloading it here. If you haven't known it already, the patch also removes the Hot Coffee feature.

I'm not sure about the effects of installing an older San Andreas patch over a new one, but it turns out the so called "car wash" fix is simply a Paint N Spray/Transfender fix that removes the dirt from the car each time the driven vehicle is resprayed, which I believed should had been addressed in 2.00.

There is a Beta user-made mod that actually creates a marker zone at a car wash [3], requiring users to download a main.scm file (requiring the 1.01 patch installed to work, but is unavailable for download at this time) and use it to replace it exact file in San Andreas. Here's another twist; version 2.00 no longer supports mods; the only workaround is to acquire the game's 1.00 or 1.01 versions EXE program. ╫ ２５ ^{◀RingADing▶} 15:07, 10 February 2006 (UTC) ╫

Re:Second Question:

Good to see you got out of that mess. Frankly, I never experience such a situation in SA to know of a remedy, although I had a similar experience in GTA III. I believe incendiary weapons (Molotov cocktails and flamethrowers) usually destroy Rhino tanks, but this may not be effective because these weapons simply burn, not displace with explosives, and garages will repair any vehicles even after it has exploded, if the vehicle is still within the garage and the garage door closes. Guess it's a lesson to learn though: never park a large vehicle in a small garage. lol.

Using cheat codes in San Andreas, and also Vice City, will effect the savegame where the codes are activated, by preventing players from ever reaching a 100% game completion (which should provide some nifty rewards), even though all missions and side missions are complete. On a side note, Vice City is less severe in a sense that this doesn't cover health, armor, wanted level and weapon cheats codes. However, San Andreas integrated the health, armor and money code into one, effectively making it a cheat code that is discourage to use for legitimate gameplay; I haven't tried the wanted level and weapon codes, though. In addition, some of the codes are no longer easily memorized, using random letters (at least for the PC version) instead of recognizable words. I'm having the feeling Rockstar is trying to discourage hardcore gamers from using cheat codes to complete the game.

Re: Star Wars Cloning comment

You asked for an answer both on the page and on your talk, here's mine

Cloning has been established as possible, but neither practical or heavily used. Indeed, the only two major cloning projects that have ever been mentioned would be the clong army of the Republic and Thrawn's clone army (who was, actually, able to make it practical). While there has been the odd cloning project (eg, Hand of Thrawn: Thrawn clone), it happens so rarely that it would be false to assume that people will just be cloned back to life. WikiProject Stub Sorting is a group of people who work on keeping all the different stub categories organized. If you want to create new stub types, it's best to mention them at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals before creating them. cluttering

It's not cluttering in terms of disk space, it's cluttering the encyclopedia with entries that don't belong. Wikipedia isn't a blog or personal webspace. -- Curps 05:34, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

On a blog or personal webspace you can do anything you want, it's your personal space. On Wikipedia you can't, it's shared space. You can't write your personal comments within articles, for instance. Redirects that no one will ever type in are not useful. You are creating these as a form of personal word game. The goal of contributors should be to improve Wikipedia, not to treat Wikipedia as some kind of personal playground.

In your room or your house you can do whatever you want (for instance, put up any poster you want on the wall), but in shared space used by many people you can't do so. If you put up a poster of your favorite actor or singer on the walls of a classroom or in the corridor of an office building, someone else will probably come along and take it down and tell you it's not appropriate. -- Curps 05:49, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

It would really help that article if you could find some more facts about things that could happen in 2180, perhaps even in fictional universes. It is bad to have an article with only one fact, especially one that is barely notable like that one. It is very disputable whether advances that will prolong life that much will be available during our life times, and Rader, who is rather old by now anyway and one of the most hated people in America, may not be able to receive them.
