Conflict of interest

edit

Hi. Since you have a conflict of interest regarding the Chippendales, please don't directly edit the article, instead you should propose edits on the article's talk page using {{request edit}}. Wikipedia does not publish original research such as information you personally got from family members, we reflect what reliable sources have said. – Thjarkur (talk) 14:25, 10 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi .. thank you for letting me know. It sounds like you are up on Wiki .. so question for you. If things are incorrect, factually incorrect, how do you fix them. There are only 3 alive today that can tell you the true story. How can these be corrected? Do you have to hire a 3rd party to make corrections? thank you.

Verification rests on what has been published in reliable sources, independent from the subject of the article. To take this one step further, say a person who is the subject of a Wikipedia article makes statements in a published interview. That is NOT considered a reliable source. Same for a company press release. David notMD (talk) 20:12, 10 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
Since your conflict of interest extends to Somen Banerjee, you shouldn't edit that article directly either. As David notMD mentioned, you can propose edits on the article talk page using {{request edit}}. I have added {{connected contributor}} to both talk pages. You should also declare your COI on your user page using {{UserboxCOI}}. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 22:55, 10 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi ShubhoBanerjee1957! You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.
