Sorry, JV means joint venture. Holden were not the lead design on that engine. They had some input in the design and did some of the CAD work. How do i know? i meet the CAD guys in the pub on friday nights. Greglocock (talk) 22:42, 2 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yeah Greg, but that is like saying "I drink at the pub with the local council street-sweeper. He tells me that the only thing the council does is keep the streets clean".

(They don't do that round here). OK so how much of the engineering did Holden do? I must admit I have never met an engine design engineer from Holden (not surprising as I haven't worked on engines for 15 years), I have no idea how much they do locally. My impression is that they don't have a go to woe engine engineering group for mass produced engines. If I'm wrong, great, all we need is an RS. Greglocock (talk) 02:34, 5 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
