Hawkeye (2021 TV series) edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hawkeye (2021 TV series). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Centcom08 (talk) 07:00, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Oh, hello Spike 'em. Didn't think I'd see you again. Anyways, Centcom08 - it's really worth mentioning that Pugh reprises her role from Black Widow. So, maybe we should add that to Belova's character description? Shooting Spirit 007 (talk) 14:28, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Shooting Spirit 007: Her reprisal has already been discussed in the Casting section of Hawkeye so kindly avoid repetitive info. Centcom08 (talk) 14:35, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

December 2021 edit

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. I'm going to give you a break here and just leave you this note instead of blocking you. But, please understand that if you have a disagreement with somebody, you need to work it out on the talk page, not just keep restoring things to the way you want them. And making logged out edits doesn't fool anybody. -- RoySmith (talk) 18:18, 18 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sorry. Shooting Spirit 007 (talk) 06:36, 19 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Betty Logan. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Rachel Green, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Betty Logan (talk) 15:57, 25 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Rachel Green, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Betty Logan (talk) 10:38, 26 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Here is the source:
"Do Ross and Rachel get married in season 10?
She leaves the plane and goes to Ross' apartment to tell him that she loves him. After years of separation, the two finally get back together for good, saying "this is it", hinting they will marry after the series (which is revealed to be true in the spin-off, Joey)."

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Loki with scepter (the avengers 2012).jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Loki with scepter (the avengers 2012).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.monstersandcritics.com/movies/loki-every-marvel-movie-appearance-mcu/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Wikipedia and copyright edit

Hello Shooting Spirit 007! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 17:23, 24 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for sockpuppetry edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Shooting Spirit 007. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- RoySmith (talk) 15:05, 26 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I did not realise that I was vandalising Wikipedia pages. I didn't mean to. The reason I created the MrDoggo24 account was not to continue vandalising; I created it to help Wikipedia. If the rest of you, admins included, can't understand that, then there's nothing I can do. If I could receive another chance, then I will strive to help Wikipedia the right way. Shooting Spirit 007 (talk) 05:00, 27 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppetry-including while making this request- does not help Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 10:17, 27 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry for creating multiple accounts, okay? I just thought that I could help... and I want to help. Shooting Spirit 007 (talk) 03:40, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I am new and I literally just joined Wikipedia a few months ago. I didn't understand what was vandalism and what was not. Plus, the truth is that I'm a kid. I'm not like some 30-year-old adult or something. I just wanted to help.

Decline reason:

Socking is confirmed, and so is the other stuff: user is either unwilling to learn (incompetent--see talk page notes and edits), or user is just screwing around with us. Either way, I see no reason to have his editor back working in article space. Drmies (talk) 03:50, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I understand the huge mistake I made. I created multiple accounts, in an effort to regain my editor. That was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made... All I ask for is - please give me another chance; I promise not to vandalise any Wikipedia pages in any way. If someone else reverts my edits, then that means I have made a mistake and I will accept that. I am so sorry for what I have done, but please know that if you decide to give me my editor back, I will not create another account and will only operate from this account. I give you my word.

Decline reason:

You've demonstrated your word cannot be trusted. Your best bet to regain our trust is to go six months with zero edits, then apply under WP:SO. Yamla (talk) 11:09, 14 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
