I quite like the new (Shiny1) format. It gives you a lot of information about RNIB but is easily navigable and doesn't use any unnecessary jargon. The previous page wasn't bad, but it seemed to present some information as trivia in a chatty style without really any explanation (explicit or otherwise) of why it was there. In addition it omitted lots of information about RNIB that could be useful, for example about eye health and the services the RNIB provide.

I don’t think that the page written by the lady at RNIB is particularly biased – it just presents the useful facts about a worthwhile charity. The person who edited the page back should remember that Wikipedia should be useful to users not a vanity project for authors.
