The following sentence probably isn't much benefit to the draft: "This popularity among the users of imageboard communities like 4chan lead NBC to display screenshots of Encyclopedia Dramatica and state its use as a planning hub in a televised report on Project Chanology."

If you cut the paragraph before this, it actually carries more weight. A sentence that it was used on NBC and will be used in a report, is not really the main focus.
