Primary Care Physician Page Updates edit

The purpose of edits was to enhance the existing page. Namely, the sections improved upon and/or added include:

  • Maldistribution - added a description of the term and prominent causes of maldistribution
  • Declining Numbers - included a section to display the severity of the issue
  • Role in the health care system - included a description of PCPs in the U.S.
  • PCPs in different countries - added this section to the page
  • Scope of practice - updated section
  • Lagging quality care measures - Reorganized section and included section to detail quality measures used in the United States.

Edits were carefully done to ensure consistency throughout the remaining article but improve upon sections that required updating or additional information.

Group D Wiki Page Edits edit

Our goal was to contribute additional information regarding organ donation options and related U.S. policy in the Wiki Organ Donor page. Our primary focus involved researching alternative organ donor systems presently in use in other countries and to assess possible solutions to America’s organ donor shortage. The prioritized sections for our assignment included; Opt-in versus Opt-out, Tax Incentives, Other Financial Incentives, Donor Leave Laws, and the United States.

We did the following edits:

1. We added two new sections to the Wikipedia organ donation page, which include; Donor Leave Laws and Tax Incentives 2. We substantially revised and edited the “other financial incentives”, “opt-in versus opt-out” and “United States” sections. 3. We provided meaningful edits to the “other financial incentives” and “United States” sections, which included adding definitions, and correcting spelling and grammatical errors.

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, WE WERE UNABLE TO POST TO OUR SANDBOX. ALL OF OUR EDITS APPEAR IN THE WIKI ORGAN DONONATION PAGE ITSELF.

Username sharing edit

I assume you previously used the name HPL Group D; while this username seems more acceptable, you still use "we" above, indicating that more than one person may be using this account, which as you were told under the previous username, is not permitted. Only you must be using this account. 331dot (talk) 01:08, 11 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Dear Wiki, No, I am the only one logging in under my username. Sorry for the confusion. Shelley

Thanks for the clarification. I would only add that if you represent a group you may want to (if you haven't already) review the conflict of interest policy. Thanks again 331dot (talk) 08:59, 18 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
