February 2012 edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Daniel Day-Lewis, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. SudoGhost 06:41, 3 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Queen edit

In looking at your edits to Queen, it seems you didn't really have a plan, but went in to fix what was partial info (not very well-presented), then returned multiple times to tinker with what amounts to one piece of (uncertain) info about Lambert. Can I suggest that in future you do some sort of rough draft, either in the sandbox or on a word processing program, gather all your references, and then edit the article so that you put in one coherent paragraph that is well-written, complete, and coherent? Think about all the people who have looked at the article since you began and imagine trying to follow it. It's good you've been trying to fix that paragraph, but I find it easier when I do the work ahead of time and make one solid edit that can stand. Just a suggestion.--TEHodson 03:49, 4 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Adele (singer) edit

Hi, amazingly no one has vandalized Adele (singer) since it came unprotected. It may just mean that the vandals have not struck yet. The normal idea here is that every thing should be able to be edited by anyone and that means no protection. Protection only applies if there is a problem rather than before there is a problem. Give it a chance and I will watch-list the page too to see if anything happens. Perhaps the vandals have lost interest in this topic. The official place to ask is WP:RFPP, but I will protect it if things go bad. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:02, 8 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification edit

Hi. When you recently edited Sade (band), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Soldier of Love (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
