Vietnam People's Air Force edit

Shaw, Actually The Vietnam People's Air Force Combat Aircraft Was 36 Sukhoi Su-30MKK,12 Sukhoi Su-27 And 12 Su-30MK2V On Order and The Other Are OK. Please Check First The Inventory.Kornet GSR (talk) 08:52, 7 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

As far as I know which is proven by the reference, Vietnam People's Air Force operates 12 Sukhoi Su-27 which includes 7 Su-27SK and 5 Su-27UBK variants. It also operates 24 Sukhoi Su-30MK2V which is an upgraded Chinese variant of Sukhoi Su-30MKK. 'MK2V' here means Sukhoi Su-30MK2 (Chinese variant of Su-30MKK) exported to Vietnam.
If I am not wrong, on 28th February 2012 one of the Sukhoi Su-30MK2V crashed in Russia during the trials before delivery and I am not sure if Vietnam got a backup delivery for the lost MK2V.
Thus, the total number of active fleet of Su-27/30s stands at either 35 or 36.
Remember that I have only mentioned the active aircraft strength of VPAF.
Yes, you are right that additional 12 Sukhoi Su-30MK2V is on order from Russia, but they are still not delivered and thus doesn't come under the operational fleet and are not included in the VPAF aircraft inventory.
Hope this answers your doubt.
Please refer the document provided by the reference which is credible enough if you have any other lingering doubt about VPAF or any other Air Force's aircraft inventory strength.

Right But 36 Su-30MK2 Was Only In Service and Can You Edit BackKornet GSR (talk) 11:12, 7 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

What are you asking to "edit back"? I just cleared your doubt and thus the figure of 404 aircraft (including 35 or 36 Su-30MK2V & Su-27s) is indeed true. (There can be one or two aircrafts here and there, but I think we should stick to the reference).
