Speedy deletion nomination of Ryan Buckland edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ryan Buckland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — InsertCleverPhraseHere (or here) 09:17, 10 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. COI edit

Hello Shauryanegi. Your edits look as if you are being paid, such as the edit you made to Churchix. Paid promotion is an especially egregious type of conflict of interest (COI)
Paid articles should be submitted through the articles for creation process. If you are receiving or expect to receive money for your edits, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post the disclosure on your user page at User:Shauryanegi. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Shauryanegi|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}.
If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. If you are being paid, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. Rentier (talk) 21:49, 11 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Deletion discussion about Theodoric Chew edit

Hello, Shauryanegi,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Theodoric Chew should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Theodoric Chew .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Request reason:

I shoouldn't be blocked because though it may appear that Im paid using puffery, Im just used to flowery language, a trait I developed in law school. I shall refrain from doing the same. As regards Theodoric Chew, yes I personally know the person and I offered my novice skill to him, hence the unreliable links as well. As regards Churchix, first of all I dont understand what is the distinction drawn between what qualifies as a noteworthy source and what doesn't. For example in a certain geographic location, only unknown-to-the-world-but-notable-here sites or sources may be considered unreliable. Moreover, Im a staunch atheist and follower of technology, particularly A.I. and Mass Surveillance in USA, therefore I picked up that topic. Also the argument that the parent company of the product is not famous and doesn't have wiki page is shallow. Company is of RISING notability. Do you think in the initial stages of whatsapp, the owners were famous? Did they have wiki? Do you think before [Angry Birds], [Rovio Entertainment] would have existed on wiki? Also I'm unable to attend discussions where my pages are up for deletionShauryanegi (talk) 12:45, 13 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You h aven't mentioned Upwork at all; you need to specifically address this in your unblock request. It also looks like you don't understand WP:NOTE or WP:RS, and will need to demonstrate an understanding of these before we consider unblocking you. Yamla (talk) 12:52, 13 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again.
