Pratapi Bhawan (hindi: prataapi bhawan) is residential area, named after late Pratapi Tiwari,the family ancestor of Tiwari family in Khulua village, mirzapur,india. Pratapi Tiwari was struggling woman in compound family of Tiwaris. Presently this family is known for its social, cultural and political success in the area.

History

This residential area was developed in 1990. Earlier it was field here. Tiwari family were economically weak earlier. They were not able to gain primary education so they started working in the field near the ganges bank. family members say the building was constructed by money gained in harvesting.

Family

She had three sons and a daughter. They are late Omkar Nath Tiwari, Bhrigupati Tiwari, Matadan Tiwari and daughter is Rani. Further Omkar nath have Children named Lal Dhar, Shyam Dar, Asha and Usha. Bhrigupati's children are Prahlad, Pawan and Sadhana. The youngest son Matadan have daughter Shashi and sons Bharat Bhaul , Shatrughna and Ashish. All family members are culturally rich, economically medium and united together. Family have produced Teachers, Professors, Government employees. The milestone by family was achieved when their own Bharat cracked Medical and Shatrughna got admission in Premier institute in india, i.e.,Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. after that family is famous in the area.

Controversies

This family has been involved many controversies which was created by mostly the villagers. According to villagers khuluais Thakur(kshatriya) dominant village. Thakurs have ruled over the village for may decades. They had controlled village politics very badly. But suddenly They felt indication of the importance of this family mainly of Matadan Tiwari. So they had complained many times in police on completely nonsense reasons which was ruled out by time. In the village election our family created history by ruling out then pram pradhan first time in history in 1992. They never look back.After that they have created history by defeating every opponent at every election. The present village president is bodelal yadav who was supported by tiwari family in 2010 general election.
