Hi LDM2003.
I see that you put a tag on Draft:Mozn. I just want to clarify the following:
This page is not unambiguously promotional,
Mozn is:
1. The only Saudi organization that is working on Arabic Language NLU. No other organization is working on NLU of arabic language. The resources I mentioned state the same. They are not sources by Mozn but official news sources.
2. Mozn is the only organization working on curbing financial crime and money laundering in Middle East. Since money laundering has different rules for Middle East by SAMA and DFS, current AML software are not serving that cause.
3. Mozn received a funding of $10 million for these two causes.
4. The organization is founded by MIT grads and they are working on innovative means of helping companies working in middle east.
It is a completely legit page and shows the innovation done in Saudi Arabia. Sharjeel-mozn (talk) 10:15, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Mozn edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Mozn, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for advertising or promotion.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text at the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:11, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I only created a page Draft:Mozn and I tried to make it as non-promotional as I could. I have also asked help from LDM2003 and Perfect4th to edit the page and remove promoting content (if any). Other than that, I have not made any promotional edits. I have read the guide for appealing blocks and I will make sure to abide by those rules. I have also been suggested to edit my username which I cannot do from my end. Please unblock my account so that I can make the required changes. Sharjeel-mozn (talk) 11:46, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

If that was an example of "as non-promotional as I could" then WP:CIR applies and you lack sufficient competence to edit here. Nor have you addressed the perceived conflict of interest; see WP:COI. Yamla (talk) 11:55, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I have already requested global renamers for a name change. Also, I am associated with the organizational account that I created. But rest assured the organization account Draft:Mozn already has many news sources that show its credibility. I am just creating the account so that people searching for them can actually learn about the organization in depth on Wikipedia (in a way compiling all sources). I have answered both conflict of interest areas and the reason I should be blocked as I am not promoting any organization but only adding content of user interest. sharjeek ashraf (talk) 11:59, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am not prepared to unblock you to recreate the Mozn article. If you are interested in editing other subjects, you should say so in your next unblock request. PhilKnight (talk) 12:31, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Alright. I won't be making any edits to the Mozn article. I have two questions: 1. Can you advise on how that article can be published? 2. Can you unblock my account as I have already requested a name change. You can also see that I am not spamming or promoting myself anywhere on wikipedia. sharjeek ashraf (talk) 12:46, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

The draft article as you wrote it will not be published. It will need to be radically rewritten and have more appropriate sources. However, since you won't be unblocked to edit about your company, that shouldn't be your top concern right now. You still have not said what subjects other than Mozn you want to edit about. You won't get too many more chances to do that, so I suggest you do so in your next request. 331dot (talk) 14:14, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Thanks for the response. I am not planning to make any edits at this time. But it would give me peace of mind to have an unblocked profile rather than have a blocked one. Since I have not made any promotions or spammed the community in anyway. That being said, my second priority is to get Mozn article published on Wikipedia. Is there a way I can request article edits so that someone can do that? Thanks

Decline reason:

I see no compelling reason to unblock at this time signed, Rosguill talk 02:08, 15 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Someone else will review your request, but if you don't intend to make any edits, there is no need to unblock you, as blocks only prevent editing. There is Requested Articles where you can request an article be written, but it is backlogged to the point of uselessness; it is likely any request you make there won't be acted on for some time, if ever(and that's assuming your company qualifies for an article, which is questionable at best). As such, you probably won't be unblocked just to make a request. Since there seems to be nothing else you want to do here, this is probably the end of the road for your Wikipedia career, but the next reviewer will make a decision. 331dot (talk) 16:24, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
