Welcome!

Hello, Shannonmuir, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Majority rule is not how the deletion is considered, we use consensus. The vote is a chance to explain the reason why and establish such consensus. Thank you for your civility in handling the process. As for why the article is up for deletion: the aim is to build an online encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but it is closely watched by other users (such as myself). You have done much more than the average bear, but the notability criterea aren't met for an encyclopedic entry so far. Now once again, there are no rules on wikipedia, only offial policies and guidelines. That means exception can be made, as Wikipedia is not a paper encyclopedia but those still require consensus. There are five days for people to chime in. Stick around and help out the project! T K E 06:34, 2 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

By the way, I've moved that page to your user page, so no information was lost. Titoxd(?!? - help us) 00:22, 7 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Just for the record, I was really cool about the deletion - or more accurately, deletion from article to user page -- because I was just learning my way around. I haven't contributed in a long time, but realize this bio is connected to entries I did make years earlier, so I want people to know who the person is behind those entries.
