Editing an article that has been tagged with an information box
edit{{helpme}} I have been editing this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITransact
It was tagged with an information box that says "This article or section is written like an advertisement. Please help rewrite this article from a neutral point of view per Wikipedia policy." I spent many hours when composing the article to make it conform with Wikipedia style, and have now gone back through it and changed/removed verbiage that may have been interpreted as being too much like ad copy. How do I now have it reviewed for removal of the information box? If it still doesn't pass muster, can someone point me to the specific areas that are viewed as having a non-neutral POV?
Thank you! Shakespeareanpie 16:04, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- What you can do is ask other users who are regular contributers of the article to have a look on the article talk page and if others a satisfied that its clean from spam then you can safely remove the notice. Regards — The Sunshine Man 16:22, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
{{helpme}} Thank you, Sunshine Man. I am the only contributor to the article, however, so I don't know who the "others" would be. Shakespeareanpie 16:35, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- I've looked at the article, and I don't think it's reads like an ad. Additionally, because 67.98.183.129 didn't provide any reasons for tagging it, I think that you can remove the notice.--Werdan7T @ 16:44, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
