Notability of Shaggy McDaniel

A tag has been placed on Shaggy McDaniel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Thank you for uploading Image:ShaggyMcDaniel.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

As for why it should be deleted, wikipedia is not myspace nor is it a repository of all people. The individual does not meet the criteria set out by WP:N for a biographical article with zero secondary sources to illustrate notability of subject. Simply being a model or an actor is no more notable than being a doctor or a lawyer, which is to say being in that profession alone does not mean the person has reached notability criteria. –– Lid^(Talk) 01:12, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
