Speedy deletion nomination of File:Freshpair Producs, Soho, New York.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Freshpair Producs, Soho, New York.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 21:09, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Statement of permission requested

edit

Hi. Thank you for uploading images related to Freshpair. Are you an employee or representative of this organization? If so, could you have an authorized individual from your employer send a statement of permission for the images you have uploaded to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. You can find a sample statement that is acceptable and meets Wikipedia's needs at WP:CONSENT. Of specific concern is File:National Underwear Day, Soho, New York.jpg and File:Freshpair, New York City. Soho, NY.jpg - because these photos themselves contain copyrighted photos, we need your organization to affirm that it is the copyright holder not just of the photo you uploaded, but as of the photos that those photos depict. (I realize that this is a bit complicated, but the photo is considered to be a derivative work, which means that in order for it to be used on Wikipedia, we need to know that your organization is the copyright holder of the underlying photos as well.) Also, if your organization would be willing to, please consider uploading larger versions - the very small images make it very difficult for the reader to see anything. Thank you and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. --B (talk) 22:51, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading File:National Underwear Day, Soho, New York.jpg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the image description page states the source and copyright status of the derivative work, it only names the creator of the original work without specifying the status of their copyright over the work.

Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the original image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. Thanks again for your cooperation. Dianna (talk) 14:20, 16 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

The file File:Freshpair mens and womens, Soho, New York,.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
