Richard Speck

edit

Hi and thanks for your contributions to the Richard Speck article. I just wanted to leave a couple notes about your additions. I removed the citation you put in which said "Interview with Emil G. Giese on April 6, 2007" because it doesn't tell who interviewed the gentleman, or where it was published. Please note that all references must be verifiable, which means they must be checkable and from a reliable objective source. Also, please note that additions to articles don't use the 4 tilde signature. Another problem is the use of the Serial Killer Calendar website and forums for citations and material. Such sites aren't considered reliable by Wikipedia and thus, cannot be used. However, the Crime & Justice forum does indicate where the material can be found, although using a site where payment is required isn't permitted either. In any case, please accept these suggestions in the spirit in which they are offered, which is that we all want the best article possible within the framework of Wikipedia guidelines. No problem. You might check the WP:Help page, it will give you a lot of good information. It must be interesting to have a relative who can tell you first hand information about this case. When you make additions to talk pages, that is when you use the 4 tildes. I did some adjustments to what you'd added. There is an existing reference in the article already for that Crime & Punishment forum page. It uses the format of <ref name="mult2"/>, so that is all you have to use to cite that page. Also, since the forum page is in effect the Scott Fornek articles, it will cover that as well. If you need to ask anything, just check with me, and I'll do my best to answer any questions.
